Going through the list of television programs that he had been a part of ever since his showbiz career started in 1994 when he was around 13 years old, we can say that Baron Geisler has been so busy and booked. It seems that there wasn’t a year when we did not see him onscreen—be it on TV or in film—through which he got to play a variety of roles and showcase his versatility and skills as an actor.
And this 2026, he's set to take on another role that people will either love or hate, as he shared during Kapamilya Chat’s Grand Fans Day with the “Blood vs Duty” stars. But before we get to meet his newest character, Felix Domingo, let us first revisit his remarkable teleserye journey over the past three decades via this Kapamilya Spotlight feature.
Those who are able to follow his prolific career are aware that he made his showbiz debut in the phenomenal youth-oriented variety gag show “Ang TV,” in which he was among the talented young artists who got to showcase and develop his skills in acting, singing, dancing, and even hosting. He was part of the pioneer batch, alongside Patrick Garcia, John Prats, Vandolph, Jolina Magdangal, and many more.
This stint opened a lot of doors for him—mostly in acting—as he appeared in a couple of remarkable ABS-CBN programs as part of the supporting cast, namely, “Esperanza” and “Gimik,” which both aired in 1997. It was in 1999 when his first big break came through the classic youth drama series “Tabing Ilog,” wherein he was cast as one of the lead characters, Alfonso “Fonzy” Ledesma. Since it ran until 2003, he had to juggle it with the afternoon soap opera “Recuerdo de Amor” in 2001.
Baron’s performances in “Tabing Ilog” paved the way for him to score more projects in the 2000s, which included “It Might Be You” (2003), “Vietnam Rose” (2005), “Calla Lily” (2006), “Komiks Presents: Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko” (2006), “Maging Sino Ka Man” (2006), and “Sineserye Presents: May Minamahal” (2007).
In “Maging Sino Ka Man,” he portrayed the arrogant Kevin Romero, who attempted to come between the romance between main characters Celine and JB, played by Anne Curtis and Sam Milby.
Baron landed roles in various teleseryes after his “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2” stint - “I Love Betty La Fea,” “Carlo J. Caparas' Pieta,” “Eva Fonda,” and “Sine Novela: Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan”—which were all broadcast in 2008.
Baron continued to be busy in 2009 as he appeared in another set of Kapamilya teleseryes, such as, “Tayong Dalawa,” “Jim Fernandez’s Kambal sa Uma,” “May Bukas Pa,” “Komiks Presents: Mars Ravelo's Nasaan Ka Maruja?” and “The Wedding.”
In 2010, he was cast in two fantasy drama series wherein he played peculiar antagonistic characters that were totally far from the past roles he took on. The first one was “Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla Presents: Elias Paniki,” wherein he was a mangkukulam (or sorcerer) named Alexander. Meanwhile, in “Noah,” he was Caleb, the main villain among the tribe of monkey-like humanoids called ungta (or “taong-unggoy”).
The seasoned actor had special participation in the 2011 inspirational drama series “Ikaw Ay Pag-ibig" as Turko, then went on to become the wicked kontrabida Kanor Dela Paz in ABS-CBN's TV adaptation of “Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel” in 2014, topbilled by Anne Curtis.
He had a brief guest appearance in the 2015 romance primetime series “Bridges of Love” as the younger counterpart of antagonist Antonio Lorenzo, played by Edu Manzano
Baron became a deceitful “Tagasundo” (or grim reaper) in the inspirational drama “Nathaniel,” wherein he disguised himself as a mortal named Gustavo Palomar in order to fulfill his evil plans on Earth, especially against the adorable and pure-hearted titular character (Marco Masa). Unfortunately for him, he was thwarted by the mighty archangels who were eager to fight him to save mankind.
Baron returned to ABS-CBN in 2019 with the long-running action-drama series “FPJ's Ang Probinsyano” as his first project. It was actually not his first time appearing in the series since he made a special participation in its first season in 2015 as the heinous criminal David Madarang. Four years later, he took on the role of David’s twin brother, Dante “Bungo” Madarang, who aimed to exact vengeance on Cardo after his own twin brother, Ador, and his comrades in Task Force Agila killed David in a police operation.
In 2022, he played the devious antagonist Janus Salazar in the action-drama series “The Iron Heart,” a significant figure in the criminal syndicate Altare, which was being pursued by the lead character Apollo Adelantar, portrayed by Richard Gutierrez.
The following year, he once again drew the ire of solid Kapamilya viewers with his compelling portrayal of Police Chief Col. Harry Aguerro in the well-liked series mystery teen drama series “Senior High.” Aside from being an irresponsible and abusive father and husband, his character was also connected to a controversial scandal in which his legitimate and illegitimate children were involved.
Many were truly delighted when, after years of playing kontrabida, Baron was finally given a starring, protagonist role in the 2025 action-drama series “Incognito.” He endeared himself to audiences as Dr. Miguel Tecson (a.k.a. Jaguar), who found redemption after being dishonorably discharged from military service due to severe alcoholism.
He is the member of the Kontraks who was esteemed not only for his expertise as a sniper and an Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician but also for ultimately sacrificing his life to save his comrade, Gab (Maris Racal), during their final battle against the El Cano terrorist group.
And just a few months after “Incognito” culminated, Baron was cast in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” as the crafty and vicious Rockyboy Mondragon, who eventually became a nemesis of Coco Martin’s character, Tanggol, after the latter beat him up on their first-ever encounter. He attempted to exact vengeance against him but failed, as Tanggol was able to kill him during their last encounter.
Aside from teleseryes, the sought-after, versatile seasoned actor also appeared in the “Si Louie, Si Luisa” episode of “Wansapanataym,” as well as in several episodes of “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” including “Trolley” (2005), “Lapis” (2006), “Bisikleta” (2006), “Saranggola” (2010), “Ice Cream” (2011), and “Sulat” (2011). His impressive portrayal of lead character, Macoy, in the “Trolley” episode earned him the “Best Single Performance of an Actor” accolade from the 19th PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2005.
Soon, viewers will see Baron step into the role of Felix in the upcoming action-drama series “Blood vs Duty!” Will he emerge as an ally to the protagonists or as their enemy?
