The "ultimate" fan meet experience, indeed.
The venue turned into an arena for the loudest cheerleaders as fans of the "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" Ultimate 8—Miguel Vergara, Princess Aliyah, Joaquin Arce, Ashley Sarmiento, Krystal Mejes, Heath Jornales, and Big Winners Lella Ford and Caprice Cayetano—showed up in full force, screaming at the top of their lungs during a special fan meeting presented by ABS-CBN Studios’ digital talk show Kapamilya Chat.
The Ultimate 8 also got the chance to look back on everything they went through in the famous yellow house and how those experiences continue to mold them individually and collectively now that they’re back in the outside world.
Here are some of our favorite moments as the Kabataang Pinoy ex-housemates reflected on their journey during and after "Pinoy Big Brother."
The pure joy on their faces as the audience went wild for them
“Overwhelmed” was basically the word of the day for the Gen Z stars—because how else would you describe the huge wave of love they’ve been receiving since the Big Night last February 28?
They are enjoying a busy life these days, with ‘guestings’ popping up left and right across television and online platforms, especially when they get to attend them together. Making the experience even sweeter is whenever they spot the same familiar faces from their fandoms, meaning the support has stayed consistent. “Nakakataba po ng puso at nakakawala ng pagod ’pag nakikita po namin ang suporta nila,” Ashley smiled.
As Krystal pointed out, it’s important for them to take things one step at a time since they’re still in an adjustment phase after their "PBB" stint. Joaquin added that these ‘guestings’ have turned into an outlet where they can talk about their "PBB" experiences, helping them ease into their new normal.
When they talked about their bonding moments in the outside world
One of the best things about living inside Bahay Ni Kuya is that you come out of the house with a new family—and this batch is proving just that through their many sightings together even outside of work.
“Meron na po kaming nakulayan na bonding,” mentioned Caprice, who happily shared that the housemates have already had a dinner catch-up. Although a few were missing, she’s optimistic (as she always is!) that the lineup will soon be complete, especially for that amusement park adventure on their bucket list.
Meanwhile, LelQuin shippers got their dose of kilig when Joaquin revealed that Lella is now his gym buddy. He also shared that he’s working on upgrading his gaming setup so he can finally play with the group’s resident gamer, Heath.
Caprice got teased about her *surprising* taste in music
After being isolated from the real world for four months, the Ultimate 8 had a lot of brushing up to do with the latest entertainment trends. That also meant reuniting with their favorite playlists and artists.
Of course, Ashley is known as the squad's biggest Swiftie (a.k.a. the resident Taylor Swift stan). But the real plot twist would have to be Caprice’s music taste. Apparently, the “demure” and soft girl of the group is actually into rap music, as seen in her recent TikTok entries. “Hindi namin inasahan na gano’n ‘yung music taste niya,” Joaquin shared, as the other housemates burst into laughter.
Sweet shoutout to their fans
Before the fun games started, the Ultimate 8 shared messages for their supporters—and the sincerity was felt in the room. Princess went first, appreciating her fandom and saying she hopes to bond with them soon.
And then Miguel expressed, "Wala po ako dito kung wala din kayo.” He even mentioned the different groups backing him—including “HeaGuel,” his and Heath's supporters. Heath also thanked his followers for all their effort, telling them, "You make my stay in the outside world so much easier."
Kapuso Big Winner Caprice gave a warm shoutout to everyone who’s been rooting for them, "Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat na sumusuporta po sa aming lahat. Abangan n'yo po ang mga projects naming lahat at patuloy n'yo po kaming suportahan. Masasabi ko po na mas lumaki po ang pamilya ko ngayon dahil sa inyo."
Kapamilya Big Winner Lella also made sure to acknowledge all the love coming from fans, "Ramdam po namin lahat ng pagmamahal at suporta na binibigay n'yo po sa amin. Lahat po ng ginagawa ko at gagawain ko, sa inyo ko po dine-dedicate."
