Alexa Ilacad just got her ‘license’ and drove straight into our hearts as she embodied Olivia Rodrigo in the February 1 episode of "Your Face Sounds Familiar." If this was a stoplight, she stayed on green—unstoppable!
Obviously, she's a true fan of the "drivers license" hitmaker, so much so that it felt like she’d long memorized Olivia’s soul and knitted it into her own for one magical night. As she said herself, it’s always been her fantasy to become Olivia even just for a day.
"Wow," Gary Valenciano blurted out, pointing out how similar Alexa was to her assigned icon. Both she and Olivia, he noted, share a modern vocal style and presence, making the match feel like it “fit like a glove.” He added that Alexa’s edge came from belonging to the same generation as Olivia, which made the performance feel all the more seamless.
“Nanggigil na ako sa'yo, Alexa,” vocal coach and guest judge Klarisse De Guzman said in jest, an expression that, when read between the lines, basically means she was floored, “’Yung mga small details, binigyan mo ng atensyon. Talagang inaral mo siya." She also praised Alexa’s gorgeous head voice and proudly declared herself a fan of the Gen Z Total Performer.
Guest judge Karla Estrada, meanwhile, was manifesting that Olivia herself would catch and love Alexa's performance because it was that good.
