Following Steve (Christian Ty) and Lucas’ (JM de Guzman) investigation into one of Laurence’s (Chris Tan) men, Oslo, they discover his fabricated name in one of the gym lockers at Lucas’ business—where they also find a USB inside.
The contents of the USB completely shock them, revealing the tragic fate of the three missing Beauconeras—from being shot to being packed inside a van and mercilessly sealed in a water drum filled to the brim with cement.
Upon seeing it, Steve reacts fast, saying that the found footage was enough to trigger an investigation, viewing it as a means to corner Oslo enough that he has no choice left but to point to Laurence.
Lucas begins to second-guess his and Steve’s safety. They discuss possible alternatives, knowing that disclosing the evidence to the police may not be completely secure due to Laurence’s powerful connections. The two then debate who should take action, both fearing that either of them could meet a deadly end.
Being the first to break the dilemma, Lucas underscores how this must be the sign for him to pay for everything he’s done, but Steve disagrees—explaining that Lucas was just trapped and had always wanted to leave.
Steve’s words trigger an old memory for Lucas—when he was beaten by Laurence after being discovered talking to other investors. The violence escalates when Laurence threatens Edong’s (Jake Cuenca) life to maintain his control over Lucas and their connection.
Back in the present, the two finally agree to leave the evidence with Erica (Kaila Estrada)—but only anonymously. They also keep their copies, knowing that if nothing comes of it in Erica’s hands, they can still find another way. At the same time, they plan to escape together before the evidence gains attention and puts their lives in danger.
