After their supposed vacation comes to a screeching halt, an upset Mia (Anne Curtis) continues to avoid Patrick (Joshua Garcia), prompting him to follow her out to the balcony, attempting to soften her mood by once again suggesting they go to Montanessa, the place she had wanted to
visit a while ago. But Mia remains unconvinced when he clarifies that it can only be a quick trip, questioning how anyone could possibly cram an escape from a chaotic world into just twenty-four hours.
Patrick, however, insists that even one day is enough for him, since he has never experienced taking a break in his life. Mia sighs and jestingly calls him a "pressure cooker" trying to soften her up. In that rare moment, Patrick allows himself to smile and admits that he's supposed to be the one saying that because she's been changing him a lot, that he now does things he never thought he could. It still puzzles him how he lost control of his anger when he saw her getting hurt earlier that morning at the facility.
Their gazes lock, and Patrick slowly leans closer as if to kiss Mia, but a goat’s bleat startles them both and spoils the 'kilig' moment. The near-kiss dissolves into awkwardness, with Patrick excusing himself to go to bed, while Mia stays behind, as though fighting with the goat that has stolen her scene.
That night, neither of them can sleep—Patrick giddy at the thought that they almost kissed, and Mia frustrated that it didn’t happen. Still, she smiles, realizing that Patrick is no longer able to hold back when it comes to her.
The following morning, Mia teases Patrick by insisting they push through with the vacation and hinting that the interrupted kiss will finally happen, puckering her lips exaggeratedly in front of him. Patrick laughs but makes it clear that the vacation is all that will happen.
