Ryan Bang finally gets the chance to catch up with rising Gen Z Kapamilya loveteam Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra in his latest vlog. Their lighthearted and kilig conversation happened over sumptuous and authentic Korean food at the fine dining restaurant that he owns located in Quezon City.

Ryan commenced the vlog by mentioning to them that he’s also an alumnus of “Pinoy Big Brother” just like them. It can be recalled that he was the 2nd Teen Big Placer of the “Teen Clash of 2010” edition, to which Fyang remarked that she was just five years old at the time.

Ryan fondly recounting how his co-housemates showed off on their first week, particularly when it came to household chores, which absolutely delighted him since he’s not actually good at it. That was also the same reason why he became close and best friends with James Reid, who eventually emerged as the Big Winner of their batch.

Since he was not helping his co-housemates with the chores, Ryan recalled that Kuya noticed it, so he gave him the special task of cooking for them the entire day. Being the quite crafty person that he is, not to mention that he’s also not into cooking, he carried out the task for a straight 10 hours so that he only had to do it for one time.

This prompted JM to relate that Fyang also once took the initiative to prepare food for them, which she did for four hours. She commented that he was over-exaggerating and explained that it was her way of helping their “PBB Gen 11” co-housemates, who were then preoccupied with their task.

Since the available ingredients inside the house at the time were limited, she had to make do with what they had, so it ended up tasting bland. Fortunately, Binsoy Namoca and JP Cabrera were able to save it, and they still went on to enjoy a delicious meal. Well, after all, it’s always the thought that counts, right?

Ryan then asked them about the most hilarious thing that they did or that ever happened to them while inside Bahay ni Kuya. The “PBB Gen 11” Big Winner prodded him to share his anecdote first, to which he obliged by reminiscing about how he used feminine wash to wash his body for an entire month as he mistook it for body wash, completely oblivious of what it was really for. This reminded Fyang of JP, who also used feminine wash to clean his face and body until he was told what it is truly for.

Having been in the industry for 15 years already, Ryan then gave the two budding actors a valuable piece of career advice, “Tito Tips” as he put it, that he had realized along the way. He told them, “Lalo na’t nag-uumpisa pa lang kayo, pinaka importante ang mga taong nasa paligid n’yo. Kahit gaano kayo kabuti o kabait, mabilis tayong mahawa eh. Kaya kailangan pumili kayo ng mabuting tao.”

Aside from asking them where they usually go on dates together, to which JMFyang—as what their team-up is fondly called—shared is her favorite coffee shop somewhere in Antipolo City, Rizal, Ryan also quizzed them about what keeps them occupied whenever they’re not busy with work. Fyang imparted that JM does workouts and boxing, while she typically spends her days off eating and sleeping.

Ryan capped off the vlog by asking them to hang their love locks at the restaurant.

Show your love and support to JMFyang by watching the iWant original series “Ghosting”. Meanwhile, you may catch Ryan on “It’s Showtime” from Mondays to Saturdays at 12 noon.
