Feeling a little old yet? The “Goin’ Bulilit” kids who used to crack jokes and pull off silly skits every Sunday are all grown-up now, and they proved they can still bring the laughs during their colorful reunion on the September 27 episode of "Rainbow Rumble."
And while it was such a treat to see Trina "Hopia" Legaspi, Andre Garcia, CJ Navato, Basty Alcances, and Cha-Cha Cañete all together again, the reunion also came with the thrill of the game. Their “Goin’ Bulilit” playground definitely trained them to be “palaban” from day one, but even if only one made it to the jackpot, the rest of the gang took the outcome with positivity.
Hopia and the boys also rooted for their friend Cha-Cha, who made it all the way to the jackpot round. Yes, this is the same Cha-Cha we once knew as the “bulilit, kung kumilos ang liit-liit.” Out of six unique colors, she managed to get four in the “Rainbow Reveal,” which meant she missed out on the million-peso jackpot but still took home a solid ₱85,000.
Watching this squad play "Rainbow Rumble" felt like a time warp, only this time, the 'bulilits' are adults, but still just as competitive and funny as ever.
