Instead of heeding Rigor’s (John Estrada) request for them to simply surrender, the Montenegros—unsurprisingly—chose violence. It was Tanggol (Coco Martin) who started the intense war by challenging the police to enter the mansion and riddling them with bullets.
This prompted the police to fight back and ram the gate in order for them to come inside and completely infiltrate the Montenegros. The police succeeded, and the battle between the two groups grew more intense.
While the war was already raging outside, Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) was frantic to find his daughter, Olivia (Chanda Romero), who suddenly got lost after her encounter with Ramon and his family. Unbeknownst to him, she went to the garden to retrieve the urn that contained the ashes of her late son, Iñigo (Albie Casiño).
Tanggol and his friends retreated after the police hurled tear gas at them. Divina (Rosanna Roces) tried to convince Tanggol for them to just run away since they will definitely die if they are going to push through with the battle. But being the hardheaded person that he has always been, Tanggol is adamant about fighting for and protecting his family no matter what it will take.
