Samuel (Gerald Anderson) still can’t stop thinking about what Anton (Smokey Manaloto), one of the victims of the investment scam, said to him during their encounter, which left a deep mark on him. Once again, he finds himself thinking about his plan to get his family out of the mess and make a clean escape. Overwhelmed with frustration, he deletes his Facebook account. But the moment he opens Instagram, he’s met with a post announcing Anton’s suicide. He struggles to process what he’s just read.
Arissa (Francine Diaz) learns about Anton’s death through Enzo (Seth Fedelin), who comes across the post. Shocked, she asks Enzo if he knew Anton personally, but he explains that he only knew him through friends and mentions that he’s one of the victims of “Yayaman Tayo Investment” scam.
Along with Enzo, Atty. Leah (Shaina Magdayao) listens as the scam victims express their sympathy over Anton’s death. Leah urges them not to give up, assuring them that her father, General Diego Ramirez (Tirso Cruz III), continues to work tirelessly to find a resolution to their case—and so does she. She tells them they can help by keeping her informed and if they come across any information or pieces of evidence, they must let her know. Leah emphasizes that they’re not just building a case to arrest those responsible, but also to trace where their money went. She reminds them that the road ahead won’t be easy, and though she can’t promise they’ll recover everything, she assures them, “Ipaglalaban ko kayo at hindi kayo nag-iisa.”
Arissa is determined to help Samuel. “May kailangan pa rin akong gawin para makatulong sa kanila,” she tells herself. She plans to track down her father’s former secretary to find out more details about the investment scam. Arissa tries reaching out to Cecillia Cruz, but gets no response. Hoping to find her online, she searches social media—but the name turns up too many results. Frustration builds as her efforts lead nowhere.
Samuel and Lolita attend the prayer vigil to express their sympathy to the grieving relatives and victims of the scam, following the death of Anton and his son, Zeke. Their presence, however, sparks anger among the crowd, who accuse them of having the audacity to show up despite being connected to the scam. Boying steps in, urging everyone to stop and calm down, reminding them that Samuel and Lolita are simply there to pay their respects to Anton and Zeke.
Samuel gathers the courage to call Agnes (Jessy Mendiola), finally telling her that he’s all in—ready to join them in taking down Roldan Rivera (Joko Diaz).
Meanwhile, at the Policarpio residence, Agnes quietly and quickly slips out to meet Samuel, unaware that Johnny (RK Bagatsing) has sensed her sudden absence.
Johnny catches Agnes meeting Samuel in the middle of the night and, without thinking, recklessly attacks him. Samuel fights back in self-defense, and the two quickly exchange blows. Agnes, desperate to stop them, tries to intervene—but they ignore her. Neither backs down until Samuel finally begins to pull away. Agnes pleads with him to stop completely and leave. He listens and walks away.
Agnes tries to calm Johnny down, but he remains furious, seething with anger and still itching to go after Samuel. She explains that the meeting was work-related, but Johnny refuses to believe her.
When they return home, the argument continues. Blinded by rage and jealousy, Johnny lashes out and hurts Agnes. He accuses her of cheating, but Agnes throws it back at him, reminding him that he was the one who had an affair. Then, in a cruel outburst, Johnny yells that it was her fault their child died.
