Due to her bubbly and vibrant personality that she initially got to showcase via her victorious stint in “Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7,” it’s definitely impossible not to adore Maymay Entrata. Thus, there’s no wonder that a lot of people rallied for her to become the Big Winner of that season.
As soon as she went back to the outside world after “PBB” in 2017, she was able to prove that there’s indeed more to her than being the “Miss Wacky-Go-Lucky of Cagayan de Oro.” Well, that’s because we were able to discover that our girl can definitely act, sing, and dance, too!
And among her first regular television appearances was on “ASAP,” in which she has been a part of ever since the said year, making her a bonafide member of its Batch 2017. Thus, we asked her to share her first and most favorite experiences via this special video tribute, as part of its year-long 30th anniversary celebration!
Maymay began by expressing how thankful she is to “ASAP” for helping her realize that performing is really the path that she’s been wanting to tread on.
She then recounted one of her initial performances in the all-star Sunday afternoon party, which was with dance group Manoeuvres Ignite. Even though she had a hard time following the choreography, she’s delighted to still have made it.
While she was used to performing back in her student days, the “Amakabogera” hitmaker enthused that doing a production number in showbiz is totally different since they usually have one day or a few hours only to rehearse. Unlike in school programs that she participated in, in which they were given ample time to practice before showtime.
Apparently, she has a lot of memorable moments on the show, which made it hard for her to pick at least one. However, she said that every chance she gets to perform with her “ASAP” family is already a memorable experience for her.
“Sa aking mahal na ‘ASAP’ family, maraming, maraming salamat po na ako po ay inyong pinagkatiwalaan na maging bahagi po ng pamilyang ito. Dahil po sa inyo ay nahanap ko po ‘yong mahal kong gawin at ‘yon po ay pagpe-perform,” she reiterated.
Maymay capped off the video by saying, “More blessings to come po sa ‘ASAP’ family. Happy, happy 30th anniversary po sa atin, ASAP fam!” and went on to send viewers hand hearts.
Catch Maymay every Sunday 12 NN on local TV via Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, A2Z, and TV5, online through Kapamilya Online Live and iWant, and worldwide via TFC.
