Before Beth’s (Charlie Dizon) troubled conversation with Ryan (Yves Flores), viewers see a disconcerting sight: Angelo (Marlo Mortel) sharpening his knife and, once again, displaying his burned back tattoo.
Seconds later, Liezel (Mary Joy Apostol) joins him, looking worried as she asks when he’ll be sleeping. Not in the mood for check-ups, Angelo instead brings up the commotion Beth caused regarding Bianca, the missing student.
Liezel continues defending Beth, insisting it was a private talk—until Vangie, true to her gossiping nature, was listening in. Unconvinced, Angelo points out that Beth’s actions weren’t those of a friend at all, recalling similar behavior during the chaos of Louisa’s (Mutya Orquia) murder case.
Evidently, Angelo’s anger toward Beth doesn’t subside; he returns to sharpening his knife, this time with even greater intensity. Meanwhile, Celestino’s (Bart Guingona) voiceover of his interrogation of young Erica (Krystal Mejes) resurfaces, revealing again the details about the burned tattoo on the back of Louisa’s true murderer.
At home, Beth criticizes everyone spreading rumors about the fiasco involving Liezel, emphasizing that she never intended for things to escalate so badly—she was only seeking answers to her questions.
Feeling defeated, Beth tells Ryan that it might be better for them to stop their little investigation into Liezel and Angelo. Ryan, who had initially stopped Beth before with her suspicions, responds more openly this time, now acknowledging the possibility.
