The "PBB Collab 2.0" housemates were put to the test in their second weekly task, where strategy and teamwork were everything.
This time, they had to build a five-story tower made entirely of red plastic cups, sturdy enough to hold the dioramas they had previously created, within a strict 30-minute limit. The challenge was done in parts. Each of the five groups could only add their section once the previous one had successfully placed theirs. The dioramas acted as walls or platforms for every level.
Before the official run, the housemates were given time to practice, and everything went smoothly. But during the final execution, every second would count and even the smallest mistake could cause their entire structure to collapse.
Star Magic housemate Joaquin Arce and Sparkle housemate Waynona Collings led the week’s task as the housemates gathered in the garden area to figure out the best strategy they could pull off, and since they didn’t have any measuring tools, they decided to use Ashley Sarmiento’s height of 5’2” as the reference for how tall their tower should be.
After setting the measurement, each group got down to work, stacking their red cups carefully and testing different ways to make their section sturdy. One of the first challenges they encountered was balancing the number of cups with the strength of their tower. Despite working on individual tower levels, the housemates made sure to help one another and share techniques. They didn’t waste any moment during practice, using the time to experiment, make mistakes, and refine their ideas until they found the most stable structure possible.
