The tension that enveloped the housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” was replaced with glee, excitement, and music on Day 14 of the well-loved reality show. But prior to that, the November 7 episode commenced by showing the girl and boy housemates having separate huddles.

While the boy housemates seemed to have just finished their tete-a-tete with regard to Lee Victor being their main leader, the girls tackled the findings of “most disciplined” female housemates Sofia Pablo and Caprice Cayetano while they were cleaning their cluttered bedroom.

Afterwards, “most disciplined” male housemates Heath Jornales and Fred Moser followed suit as they also gathered their roommates to impart their comments regarding what they had observed while cleaning their bedroom. They also disclosed to them their idea of implementing a punishment for anyone who would dare clutter again as their way of teaching that certain housemate a lesson. The boys gladly accepted it and even thanked Heath and Fred for their efforts.

Sofia, Caprice, Heath, and Fred then assembled everyone in the living room to share the new rules they would like to set and expect them to obey in order to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness in the house. Aside from making sure that their bedroom is well-kempt, they also reminded them about putting the throw pillows back to their positions after using them and tidying up the dining table everytime they finish eating.

As a reward for their hardwork in cleaning up the bedrooms and being the enforcers of cleanliness and orderliness in his house, Kuya allowed Sofia, Caprice, Heath, and Fred to sleep in their new and more spacious room that night—much to their astonishment and delight.

The tension that enveloped the housemates the night before was replaced with glee, excitement, and music as Kuya gave them a special musical task. But before that, he first surprised Heath by granting his request for him to be reunited with his beloved guitar, which he considers his longtime best friend. Kuya also allowed Heath to perform one of his original compositions for his housemates, which, according to him, he wrote for someone he used to like.

And Heath got the “crowd approval” he’d been yearning for as his housemates were exhilarated by his performance. Thus, he told Big Brother in the confession room, “No’ng nagpalakpakan po sila sa dulo, Kuya, I was emotional po na parang na-overwhelm kasi nagustuhan nila ang kanta ko. Success!”

Little did Heath know that his reunion with his guitar and his spontaneous song number actually hinted at the special task that the owner of the house would ask him to lead alongside Kapamilya housemate Carmelle Collado. In this task, the 20 housemates were divided into two groups, with Carmelle’s team being the singers and Heath’s squad being the musicians. But first, they have to determine their housemates’ skills in singing and playing musical instruments.

They began by choosing their team members, with Heath picking Joaquin Arce, Ashley Sarmiento, Reich Alim, Iñigo Jose, Waynona Collings, Miguel Vergara, Sofia, Caprice, and Fred. Making it to the group of Carmelle were Lee, Lella Ford, Krystal Mejes, Princess Aliyah, Anton Vinzon, Eliza Borromeo, Marco Masa, Rave Victoria, and John Clifford.

Heath then proceeded on asking each one of his members what musical instruments they could play and came up with five guitarists, three pianists, and two percussionists, while Carmelle began to evaluate the vocal prowess of her teammates and make them undergo vocal exercises.

Kuya then invited the group of Heath to the confession room to tell them that they could already get the musical instruments that they would use for their performance. However, just when they assumed that they were about to use real instruments, they were surprised to find improvised musical instruments in the storage room. Afterwards, it was the singers whom he summoned to tell them that they would have to render their version of “Kabataang Pinoy.”

While it seemed to be an easy task for them, Big Brother decided to put an amusing twist to it by telling the "Kabataang songerists” that they could only communicate by singing, while the musicians, a.k.a. “Pinoy Big Beat,” could only interact with each other and the other group through their instruments. They were only able to speak normally again after winning the mini game called “Igalaw Mo, Ikakanta Ko” that Kuya asked them to play, in which the singers had to guess the words that the musicians acted out.

Despite the challenges that Big Brother had imposed on them, the “PBB Collab 2.0” housemates were still able to pull off their awesome and impressive rendition of “Kabataang Pinoy”! Thus, their special musical task was indeed a success, and Kuya thanked them for it!

“Masaya po siya, Kuya, kasi nami-miss ko rin po, Kuya, na kumanta talaga. Malaki po Talaga ‘yong changes po sa akin ng dahil po sa music, Kuya. Nagkaroon po ako ng mga experience na makakanta po sa mga big stage. Thankful po ako. Ito po talaga ang nagsilbing daan, Kuya, sa kung ano man pong mayroon kami ngayon,” Carmelle imparted to Big Brother inside the confession room.

Heath also spoke with Kuya after their performance, wherein he conveyed, “Music changed my life a lot. Dati, nakikinig-kinig lang po ako pero ‘di ko talaga naiintindihan ‘yong music. Pero ngayon po na I make my own music. I appreciate it more. Parang naging choice na rin po siya sa akin na pwede siyang maging career, how I can express my emotions po, Kuya.”

As they succeeded in the first phase of their “Bahayanihan” weekly task and in their special task, will they be able to continue their streak? Let's see by not missing the next episodes of “PBB Collab 2.0,” which can be watched online via livestreams on the PBB YouTube Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), and iWant.
