Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Olsen (Kyle Echarri) climb into the vent and inch closer to the banquet hall. As they move slowly, dust falls from the ceiling, catching Tres’s (Bernard Palanca) attention and making him suspicious. Liam peers through tiny holes in the vent and sees his parents held captive. This leads Olsen to conclude that Wendy, Chief Ben (Levi Ignacio), and even Luna have not yet been caught.
Meanwhile, Kwatro (Harvey Bautista) continues working on the technical systems, including gaining CCTV access from the security room to the banquet hall. Later, he successfully connects the camera feeds to the TV screen, earning praise from his brother, Tres.
From above, Liam and Olsen observe everything and reflect on what the goons might want, and they are probably after money. Olsen tries to reassure himself that his mother and grandfather would not be targeted, since they are not wealthy like the other guests. “Kapag nahuli sila, ano sa tingin mong mangyayari? Baka patayin din sila,” Olsen worries. Liam then assures Olsen that such a fate will not happen.
