“Duwag!” This word, spewed out by Erica (Kaila Estrada) on the news, infuriates the infamous fugitive, Edong (Jake Cuenca). On the warpath, Edong calls Erica afflicted with her so-called valiant outcry directed at him. As she taunts him further, he eventually vows to prove his title as the most feared inmate in Bagumbayan Prison.
Edong’s slyness stands out as he fearlessly comes clean regarding his plans to complicate NLEA’s search for him. Upon learning Edong’s resolve, Erica turns subdued, bringing up her cooperative efforts with Lucas, attempts to take hold of Esther (Malou Crisologo), and tracking down of Louisa’s (Mutya Orquia) real murderer—all of these in hopes for Edong to bring his vengeful plans to a standstill.
To no effect, Edong contends that his wish is much different from clearing his name or reputation in Amurao. The justice he once sought after was already unveiled to Mel (Sue Ramirez) and was also on its way to Erica—in the form of an ambiguous package.
Distraught by Edong’s possible fate, Lucas chastises Steve
Emerging jittery, Steve arrives at Lucas’s (JM de Guzman) apartment, only to be met with outrage—with Lucas straight ahead grabbing his collar.
Lucas demands Steve help him in protecting Edong (Jake Cuenca) from his father, Lawrence Kyo, who had also expressed ill intentions to dispose of Edong. Retaliating, Steve remarks that in spite of their past misunderstandings, he is aware of Lucas’s strong bond with Edong and was intending to notify him of Lawrence’s schemes. Before they can even end their heated confrontation, he receives a distressing call.
Alice and Beth worry more about the missing Mel
With the persistent terror arising from Edong’s (Jake Cuenca) imminent attack, Beth (Charlie Dizon) decides to accompany Alice (Janella Salvador) for a night. In the first few hours, Alice speculates that he might have kidnapped Mel (Sue Ramirez), which Beth immediately disagrees with.
Recalling her encounter with Anton (Jameson Blake), Beth concludes that his lack of urgency to inform the police of Mel’s disappearance augmented the severity of their situation—not forgetting his suspicion of Beth as Mel’s possible accomplice to her escape.
Erica and Lucas get deceived by Edong’s inhumanity
As soon as Lucas (JM de Guzman) reaches Erica’s (Kaila Estrada) unit, she discloses Mel’s (Sue Ramirez) disappearance and Edong’s (Jake Cuenca) aggravated call. She suspects that Edong might have seized the helpless Mel, which incites Lucas’s frustration at her uncertainties with him.
In the middle of their quarrel, Erica takes a call from the lobby, informing her of a package. As they were about to inspect it, Erica remembers Edong’s dubious talk and proceeds to evacuate the residents with the help of Lucas and Marco (Race Matias).
A few hours later, caution tape encloses a lone member of a bomb squad. While he cautiously uncovers the contents, Erica, Lucas, and Marco, alongside the distressed residents, await the revelation. More appalling news strikes them. Instead of an improvised explosive device, a severed hand comes into view.
Looking back into her phone call with Edong once more, Erica weeps and clamors at the thought of the hand belonging to her old friend, Mel (Sue Ramirez).
Anton carries on his search for Mel
Entering a bar, Anton (Jameson Blake) approaches Jenny, one of Mel’s (Sue Ramirez) close friends. He wastes no time questioning her about Mel’s whereabouts, which he caught on to from Jenny’s recent Instagram post thanking Mel for the birthday cupcakes.
Jenny confirms that the cupcakes were indeed sent by Mel but is unaware of where she is. Vexed, he insists Jenny quit lying, but she instead gets pulled away by her drunken friends.
Unable to squeeze out an answer from her, Anton decides to wait for the right timing. By the time Jenny was struggling to get inside her unit, Anton was prepared to pester her in a seemingly dreadful way, but his plans failed him as she got inside safely.
