In his desire to speak with Tindeng (Charo Santos), Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) asked one of the councilors to tell her that the majority floor leader wished to invite her for a meeting regarding the proposed program for senior citizens.
Since she and her team had been pushing for its enactment, Tindeng willingly heeded the call only to be dismayed upon realizing that she was fooled. Instead of a formal meeting, she was appalled to see Don Gustavo waiting for her in the room where the councilor had brought her.
The old man revealed that it was him who summoned her, which got her completely upset and triggered her to almost hit him. He was able to dodge it, reminding them of what he had done in order to spare Alfredo (Juan Rodrigo) from being sent to jail by Roberto (Albert Martinez) following their altercation the other day.
Just when she was about to leave, Don Gustavo uttered that there were important matters they had to tackle, particularly the welfare of their grandson, Santino (Ronwaldo Martin), who currently lives with him at the Guerrero mansion. He related to her the current harrowing state of Santino and how did he end up living with the Guerreros, much to Tindeng’s shock.
While she seemed to be still processing everything that he had just told him, Don Gustavo went on to blame Tindeng for what happened to Santino and his granddaughter with Roberto, Erika (Gillian Vicencio). He conveyed that it was her fault for hiding from him over the past decade, which completely provoked Tindeng to remind him of the abomination that he had done to her.
A scorching spat subsequently sparked between them, with Don Gustavo reiterating that Santino and Erika wouldn’t be in their current situation if only she did not run away from him and decided to leave the paradise life she would have had with him. However, he told her that it wasn’t late for her yet as he tried to convince her anew to go back to him and start afresh along with their daughter Marites (Cherry Picache) and grandson Tanggol (Coco Martin).
Unfortunately for him, Tindeng was obviously not keen on going into the same hellish life again that he had brought him many years ago, telling him that it would never, ever happen anymore then walked off. Little did Tindeng know that the old man is seemingly planning to use force in taking her back into his life anew.
