One of the other nominated housemates, Marco Masa, turned to his good friend John Clifford, needing someone to talk to as he processed his feelings.
To recall from the previous episode, Caprice had mentioned Marco as one of her reasons for nominating the entire Determined Warriors group, explaining that there were a few moments when Marco said he would take on a certain task or chore but ended up not following through.
During his heart-to-heart with Clifford after the nomination, he said he didn't expect Caprice's statement coming at all, especially since he genuinely felt that he had always appreciated and noticed the things she did around the house, and he even considers her as one of the biggest sources of positivity inside the house. Clifford encouraged Marco to clear things up with Caprice so they could both express how they really feel.
Talking to Kuya inside the confession room, Marco said that although Caprice’s comment came as a surprise, he accepted it wholeheartedly and acknowledged that maybe, unintentionally, he did come across to her that way. Instead of taking it negatively, he wants to turn it into motivation to show his worth and prove he still can still do more inside the house.
And while the nominated housemates were understandably feeling down about their situation, the same could be said for some members of the Team Smiling Angels—the only group who had the power to decide who gets nominated, a privilege they earned after dominating the LigTask challenges.
