If we look back at the previous episode, one of the biggest reasons why the Determined Warriors ended up getting nominated was because of the trio of Carmelle Collado, Krystal Mejes, and leader Eliza Borromeo, whose dynamic inside the house had been flagged by several housemates. They pointed out that the three seem to revolve around one another so tightly that it left little room for others to connect with them, and at times they lack initiative in group responsibilities like chores.
For Krystal, the comments from their housemates hit like a wake-up call. "It's a reality check na this is not just living in one house with my best friends, but it's actually a competition. It's actually a game where we have to strive," she opened up to Big Brother in the confession room. She also admitted that she, Carmelle, and Eliza might have gotten too caught up in their friendship, unintentionally closing themselves off from the rest of the housemates.
Despite holding on to how special their bond is, Krystal didn’t deny that the criticisms were valid, so she gently urged Carmelle and Eliza to take the feedback seriously and begin making changes, not to prove something to the others, but to grow as individuals, telling them that even if one of them leaves, what matters is that they all chose to rise from it.
The second nomination night left Eliza, Krystal, and Carmelle in tears as it dawned on them that, with their group Determined Warriors facing possible eviction and the rules requiring both a Kapamilya and a Kapuso housemate to go, it'd be inevitable that one of them three would be saying goodbye
