We may have seen glimpses of their “Your Face Sounds Familiar” vocal and movement mentoring sessions under Klarisse de Guzman and Nyoy Volante, but not the processes they have to go through as they physically transformed into their respective icons.
Alexa Ilacad received a standing ovation from the jury for her on-point impersonation of Princess of Pop Britney Spears as she performed “I’ m A Slave 4 U” in Week 4, while Jarlo Base made the jury happy and proud of his transformation into John Legend as he serenaded us with “All Of Me.”
And in order for them to completely pull off their respective performances, they didn’t just study the singing styles, movements, and mannerisms of their icons, but Alexa and Jarlo were both game to wear prosthetics, too—as seen in this video.
