The “PBB Collab 2.0” third weekly task might be very challenging, but the task leaders-slash-directors were pleased and impressed that their co-housemates were cooperative, attentive, and energetic during their rehearsals.
However, just when Heath Jornales, Lella Ford, and Anton Vinzon thought that they’d already got the task figured out, they immediately had to make significant revisions to their script since Kuya apparently wanted them to make a superhero-versus-villain-themed act, which made their preparations extra challenging. The housemates started practicing again as soon as the task leaders were done with their brainstorming and script revision.
In the middle of their rehearsals, Kuya summoned the three to the confession room to relay to them the main twist of their performance. He told them that in order for them to succeed, they must make sure that their stunts would be in sync with at least seven out of 13 sound effects, which they immediately communicated with their housemates.
While the first of their last rehearsals turned out fine, they encountered a problem in the next one, as some of the housemates found it difficult to get the right timing for the sound effects. This got Anton a bit frustrated, especially with the thought of his dad, veteran action star and director Roi Vinzon, watching him. But his close friend and fellow Sparkle artist consoled him by saying that his father was surely proud of him.
After preparing for a couple of days, the time had come for the housemates to perform their six-minute action sequence! Clad in futuristic, quirky, and colorful superhero-inspired costumes, they impressed us with an awesome story wherein Princess Aliyah, the villain, exacted vengeance against Miguel Vergara for what he had done to her father by abducting his daughters, played by Waynona Collings, Caprice Cayetano, and Sofia Pablo. The rest of the housemates, meanwhile, were assigned to be the lackeys and allies of either Miguel or Princess.
They might have done good in all their stunts, but some of them, unfortunately, missed the timing of several sound effects. But in spite of those errors, they were still able to successfully accomplish their act after getting eight sound effects right, which made them win their third weekly task! The housemates instantly celebrated upon hearing the great news from Kuya, with task leaders Lella, Heath, and Anton expressing their delight at this collaborative achievement.
