The Philippines’ Christmas season isn’t complete without ABS-CBN’s much-anticipated holiday tribute, also a celebration embraced by Kapamilyas worldwide that brings the heart of home to all.

On Friday, November 14, the 2025 Christmas ID, “Love, Joy, Hope: Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko,” aired just before ABS-CBN’s main evening news program, “TV Patrol.”

The beginning of the 24-minute video highlights the unwavering resilience of Filipinos, affirming their ability to hold on and share love, joy, and hope with one another, eventually rising together as one family.

Bringing Kapamilyas back to the past, it also features nostalgic snippets from the 2004 Christmas ID “Sabay Tayo, Kapamilya,” which laid the foundation for many of ABS-CBN’s later iconic IDs and heavily influenced the 2025 version. Also woven into its musical DNA are the 2009 Christmas ID “Bro, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko” and the 2024 “Our Stories Shine This Christmas.”

In conveying the power of love, joy, and hope, Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo was the first to appear on screen, introducing the theme of “love.”

She is joined by the ambassadors of the three-part theme—Ricardo Cadavero, Perlita Guerrero, Melanie Reyes Figueroa, Martin Riggs, Fr. Errol Fidel Mananquil, and Richmond Seladores—whose words inspired the Christmas ID.

The 2025 Christmas ID’s strength comes from the humble, raw stories of its ambassadors. Though they lead simple lives, their generosity reaches far beyond their loved ones, carried even further by the influence of the Kapamilya figures.

Ricardo, also known as “Cardong Trumpo” and the Season 7 grand winner of “Pilipinas Got Talent,” aims to show that a family’s love is unequivocal and inspiring—enough to motivate people to perform honorable deeds for their loved ones. He is joined by OPM icons Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, and Ogie Alcasid in performing the song.

Perlita Guerrero, the empowering tribal chieftain of the Dumagat community, expressed her ongoing dream of seeing communities preserve the value of working together. She shared this message in heartfelt duets with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla.

Highlighting her heartwarming generosity that inspires hope, Teacher Melanie—fondly called “Teacher Santa” by her students for her “Be A Santa and Grant A Wish” project—performed alongside Darren Espanto, Maymay Entrata, and Klarisse de Guzman.

Martin, founder of the Busking Community PH and dedicated to creating music that helps others, harmonizes with charting artists Maki and James Reid, leading into the sparkling, melodious performance of BINI, the nation’s girl group.

Onto the final theme of “hope,” Fr. Errol, who has long nurtured hope for the orphaned, uplifted hearts with Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

More good-willed personalities step in: Richmond, the youth leader who selflessly aids calamity victims, carries that same hope, amplified alongside the judges of “Idol Kids Philippines,” JK Labajo and Angeline Quinto, and 2025 grand winner Alexa Mendoza

Personifying the theme of “joy” is a stellar lineup of Kapamilya performers—multi-awarded artists and fresh talents alike. Making a grand entrance to herald them all is the Unkabogable Superstar, Vice Ganda, dazzling in a striking red gown and celebrated as one of ABS-CBN’s signature stars.

Among all the standout artists present were Judy Ann Santos, Angelica Panganiban, Iza Calzado, Belle Mariano, Luis Manzano, Jessy Mendiola, John Arcilla, Sam Milby, Bela Padilla, and Janine Gutierrez, alongside the beloved “ASAP” and the Star Music families.

Joy truly knows no bounds, as the “ASAP” family bonded with OFWs in England and Canada, while Kapamilyas in Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Baguio, Quezon City, Negros Oriental, Bacolod, General Santos, Australia, Dubai, and Taiwan were also recognized.

The holiday tribute cannot be missed by the beloved cast from each Kapamilya series. Leading the lineup is the stars of upcoming “Someone, Someday”, starring Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid. Next is the tighter-than-ever cast of “Sins of the Father,” led by Gerald Anderson; the warm and playful “Roja” ensemble, featuring Donny Pangilinan and Kyle Echarri; the stars of intense and gripping “What Lies Beneath”; and the newly introduced “The Alibi” team.

Adding a true touch of festivity is the stellar cast of long-running “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” with Coco Martin blowing the whistle to rouse the high spirits of his castmates Christopher de Leon, John Estrada, Cherry Pie Picache, Rosanna Roces, Angel Aquino, Jake Cuenca, Baron Geisler and Maris Racal.

Non-narrative shows shine as well, blending the themes of “love, hope, and joy” in each episode. Highlighted among them are the ever-amicable ‘Pamilya ni Kuya’ from “Pinoy Big Brother,” the passionate ‘Ka-Familiars’ from “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” and the iconic “It’s Showtime” family.

Celebrating the real-time storytellers are the ABS-CBN News family, who embody love, hope, and joy even in the toughest situations. Alongside them are the dedicated “ANC” family and the lively “MOR” family.

Bringing the fun to its peak are the Kapamilya viral singers Michael Gonzales, Jaylorie “Tuko” Delos Reyes, Heart Khristine Sanchez, Jundel Tanio, and Brice Marmeto—fired up even more by the surprise rapping performance of Vice Ganda, Kathryn Bernardo, and Coco Martin, along with the electrifying dance break by BINI and BGYO.

Standing as the very pillars of ABS-CBN, the leaders who give the Christmas ID its heart and strength stand prominently—the Big Three: President and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak, Chairman Mark L. Lopez, and Chief Operating Officer Cory V. Vidanes, whose guidance fortifies the message of hope and togetherness this 2025.

Just hours after its release, the newest ABS-CBN Christmas ID stirred appreciation, nostalgia, and excitement among viewers. Here are some of the relatable reactions that captured the moment:
