No more hesitations are in place as the November 13 episode immediately plunges viewers into Erica (Kaila Estrada) and Marco’s (Race Matias) pursuit of the elusive Edong (Jake Cuenca), who they discover is the same person who broke into Alice’s (Janella Salvador) house and chased Beth’s (Charlie Dizon) daughter.
In a panic, Lucas (JM de Guzman) follows Erica and Marco to Bagumbayan prison while trying to contact his brother, Edong, about the events that are about to unfold.
Erica calls Warden William Ayoc (Paolo Serrano) and asks about how Edong is able to walk free outside the prison despite still serving his sentence. The warden denies the accusation and even warns Erica to be cautious with her claims. In response, Erica threatens to expose everything to the media if she finds Edong missing upon her arrival.
Hastily promising an investigation, the warden calls on the other jail guards—Magno, Camacho, and Tugade—to check on the “feverish” Edong, a possible hint that he will be punished for being caught.
Both Erica and Lucas recall pivotal moments: Erica remembers the day she informed Edong that she was reinvestigating Louisa’s (Mutya Orquia) case, while Lucas recalls the instance, he confronted his brother about calling Erica and denying that he had threatened her.
Alice and Beth brace for what’s to come
Realizing the dangers ahead, Alice (Janella Salvador) takes Erica’s (Kaila Estrada) earlier warning more seriously this time. Still doubtful, Beth (Charlie Dizon) tries to reassure her that if they were truly Edong’s (Jake Cuenca) targets, they would have been killed by now, just like Celestino (Bart Guingona).
Soon after, Beth decides to go home to Ryan (Yves Flores) and Chloe (Jewel Milag) but worries about Alice’s safety—who has already hired security at her house.
While locking up, Alice encounters Rose, her helper, and insists they all sleep in one room for safety. Rose asks if Edong might return, and Alice assures her that the police are already searching for him. Alice acknowledges that Rose might be too scared to stay, but Rose promises to remain with them.
Mel still chooses her Grace & Glam dream
In the middle of the night, Anton (Jameson Blake) hastily enters Mel’s (Sue Ramirez) hospital room, determined to bring her back home.
Shocked by the sudden intrusion, Mel reminds him that she’s still under the doctor’s observation, but Anton cuts her off, insisting that he already signed a waiver for her discharge.
As Mel pleads to stay another night, Anton grows frustrated and grips her arm violently—until she reproaches him, momentarily forgetting her fear.
Unable to hold back any longer, Mel reminds him of the doctor’s warning: how she nearly died from Anton’s punch. She adds, with a biting edge, that perhaps this was what he wanted all along—for her to die because his ego couldn’t handle a successful wife.
Anton puts on his caring facade once more, but Mel, recalling the full extent of his abuse, lashes out at him with all the fury she can muster. Enraged, Anton loses control again and grabs her face with brutal force, indifferent to her fragile condition.
Unknowingly interrupting the confrontation, a nurse arrives, prompting Anton to calm down. Mel seizes the moment to ask about staying in the hospital, but the nurse reminds her that she was the one who wanted to go home—though it was actually Anton who made up the story.
Taking advantage of the situation, Anton pressures Mel further, using Reema, Grace & Glam’s creative director, to manipulate her into staying with him—claiming that she was concerned Mel might be too sick to continue representing the campaign.
Beth and Ryan watch for Edong
Back at their family home, Beth (Charlie Dizon) and her husband, Ryan (Yves Flores), arm themselves with makeshift weapons, keeping a vigilant eye out for any sign of Edong’s (Jake Cuenca) possible intrusion.
Ryan asks if it’s really true that Edong has returned to Amurao. Beth, meanwhile, wonders why Edong’s target was Chloe (Jewel Milag) instead of her—the one who had directly contributed to Edong’s incarceration fourteen years ago.
A prison guard aids Edong in hiding
The situation at Bagumbayan prison spirals into chaos as guards Magno, Camacho, and Tugade gather under Warden William Ayoc’s (Paolo Serrano) orders to find Edong (Jake Cuenca).
They storm Edong’s quarters in a rage, only to find a random inmate sleeping in his bed.
Moments earlier, prison guard Usman had heard that Edong was “feverish” and needed care. Interpreting this as possible punishment for breaking the rules the warden had imposed—to never be caught and never escape—he decides to help. Disguising Edong in a police uniform, Usman hides him in his car.
When the alarm sounds and all inmates are forced outside for roll call, the guards inspect every part of the prison, even the car. Using a quick diversion, Usman was able to lock the car, keeping Edong safe inside.
While in hiding, Edong sends a video to Erica (Kaila Estrada), Beth (Charlie Dizon), Alice (Janella Salvador), and Mel (Sue Ramirez). In it, he is seen beating Celestino (Bart Guingona) to death, before making it clear that they are his next targets.
Horrified, the women descend into panic, with Alice’s screams echoing the loudest.
