Samuel (Gerald Anderson) steps into the line of fire—ready to risk everything to reclaim peace for his family in the November 11 episode of “Sins of the Father.”
But Samuel's betrayal sends Diego (Tirso Cruz III) into a rage. Diego won’t go down without a fight. Now, both men are headed for war.
Worry looms over Samuel’s family
Samuel finally returns home. He gathers Lolita (Lotlot de Leon) and Arissa (Francine Diaz) to share his next move. “Bukas, susugod na kami sa scam warehouse dahil mahina na sila,” Samuel informs them, confident that his plan will work.
His mother, Lolita, continues to worry. “Sigurado na ba kayo diyan sa plano n’yo?”
Samuel reassures them that everything has been carefully planned. Though his family is anxious, he’s determined to end it all and reclaim the peace they once had. He also tells them that if anything happens to him, Agnes (Jessy Mendiola) and Paeng (Nico Antonio) will look after them in the meantime.
Matthias finally reveals the truth
Still on the run, Matthias (Eric Fructuoso) shoots the police officers and grabs their weapons. Once he’s out of sight, he arrives at Diego’s house and calls him. “May kailangan kang malaman. Hindi dapat tayo ‘yong nag-aaway-away. May isang taong naninira sa grupo natin at alam ko na kung sino ‘yun.”
He asks Diego to let him in, unaware that Diego has already spotted him through a surveillance camera outside. Later, Diego’s security team captures Matthias and brings him inside.
Diego mocks him for showing up in person but still gives him a chance to speak. “Be my guest,” he says.
Matthias borrows a laptop and begins typing. He reveals that he accessed the hackers’ server. “Sila ang nag-hack sa Oriental Ridge at sa TV station kung saan in-expose si Valentino.” He also tells him that these hackers got into the CCTV footage of the scam warehouse to spy on it.
Diego remains unfazed. He pulls out a gun and demands Matthias to give him a good reason not to kill him.
Matthias responds, “Alam ko na kung sino ang nasa likod ng pananabotahe ng grupo natin. At kilalang-kilala mo siya!”
Matthias clicks on the laptop, revealing CCTV footage of Samuel working with the hackers. It was Samuel Trinidad—Diego’s most trusted ally and the man he had chosen to succeed him as Bakunawa’s leader.
Is Leah planning to escape?
Leah (Shaina Magdayao) grows suspicious as she recalls several flashbacks—moments when she began to suspect that Roldan (Joko Diaz), her husband Jacob (JC de Vera), and Samuel might be involved in criminal activities. She’s not convinced that Diego is unaware of what’s happening.
“Kilala kita, dad. The Diego Ramirez will never admit that he’s losing his touch.” This confusion leads her to suspect that her dad is also involved in the conspiracy as one of their accomplices.
Her thoughts are interrupted when her daughter Chloe (Cailey Magno) enters the room and asks why she’s packing. Leah tells her they’re going on vacation, though in reality, she’s preparing for something far more serious.
Diego is enraged by Samuel’s betrayal
Diego is furious over Samuel’s betrayal. He once hoped Samuel would take over Bakunawa. Now, he feels foolish for trusting him. “Ikaw lang ang nakagawa sa’kin nito, Samuel… You turned my legacy into a pile of mess!” he growls. “Humanda ka, Samuel. Magbabayad ka.”
Diego plans to take revenge by dragging Samuel’s loved ones into the chaos. “Dadating ang oras na magdadasal ka sa harap ko. Na sana pinatay na lang kita.”
Jacob’s rage and Samuel’s next move
Jacob is furious that Roldan was captured and abducted, unaware that Samuel is behind it. Meanwhile, Roldan continues to scream Diego’s name from the empty room where Samuel is keeping him.
As the mission reaches its critical phase, Samuel moves forward. Mael (Jerald Napoles) is assigned to monitor the surveillance cameras. Paeng will handle negotiations with Roldan to convince him to testify against Diego, and Agnes will accompany him to show Roldan a live video of the attack on the scam warehouse, hoping to prove that Diego’s group has fallen—leaving Roldan no choice but to turn against him.
They also plan to use Matthias as a witness, unaware that he has already escaped despite being under their watch.
Samuel will lead the initial attack on the scam warehouse. A distress code is set in case things go south. They hope to declare the mission accomplished.
Johnny’s disorientation; Colonel Enrico trapped in a blind spot
Johnny (RK Bagatsing) is disoriented. He decides to deal with what he discovered about his ex-wife Agnes after the operation. Their mission is top secret—many police officers are allegedly on the syndicate’s payroll. Their days are numbered.
Meanwhile, Samuel is about to face his biggest challenge. Colonel Enrico (Soliman Cruz), preparing to back up Samuel, wants to ensure that there will be no complications during the raid on the scam warehouse. He places his trust in the police chief, believing the operation will push Diego’s men to abandon him. If the group finds out, they’ll turn on Diego. But Colonel Enrico doesn’t know he’s trusted the wrong people.
Samuel’s plan falters as danger closes in
As Samuel approaches the warehouse, Mael and his team monitor the area in real time via surveillance cameras. Samuel positions himself as bait, attacking first before the colonel follows.
Upon arrival, Samuel’s team keeps a close watch. From Mael’s perspective, several men are scattered around the warehouse. But from Samuel’s point of view, the area appears empty. Confused by the discrepancy, Samuel decides to proceed with the plan despite the conflicting surveillance feeds.
Later, the drone transmission following Samuel’s movements goes dark. The team assumes it’s due to interference. They try to regain access but fail—losing sight of Samuel’s actions entirely.
With Samuel off the grid and Diego burning with rage, the battle is far from over.
