They may be more familiar to us dishing the hottest celebrity updates and juicy commentaries online, but in the September 28 episode of "Rainbow Rumble," Ogie Diaz and his squad of co-hosts Tita Jegs, Dyosa Pockoh, Ate Mrena, and Mama Loi, collectively dubbed the “Showbiz Chikadoras," traded the showbiz talk for some playful competition.

The game stayed exciting until the very end, with Mama Loi advancing to the jackpot round called "Rainbow Reveal." She may not have snagged the ₱1 million prize but the fun they had together was the real jackpot.

Tita Jegs was all smiles after the game, saying she didn’t mind her early exit as long as she had so much fun. As Ogie said, there can only be one winner in a game show and at least it was their friend Mama Loi who won, so they were all happy for her. For Dyosa Pockoh, just being on the show was already a big win, a dream come true as she put it.

When asked which part of the game gave them the most challenge, Tita Jegs admitted she got more nervous with the “Tile Breaker” portion, where a player could be pushed back by their opponent. Ogie confessed that some of the questions were nerve-racking, while Dyosa Pockoh was anxious almost the entire time because she tends to get jittery when excited but she's happy that she was able to answer a few. And like many contestants before her, Ate Mrena found the swiping part the most difficult, "Kasi feeling ko ang bagal ko."

Apart from the laughter and fun times they took home, the group also walked away with a few life lessons, like sharpening their focus and staying calm under pressure. Tita Jegs considered the game a refreshing mental exercise that reminded her of the importance of listening well. Ogie felt the same, noting that attentiveness helps keep panic at bay. The usually jittery Dyosa realized she performs better when she's calm, "Maging kalmado at huwag aligaga. 'Yun ang gusto kong baguhin sa sarili ko, masyado akong aligaga 'pag excited." On the other hand, Ate Mrena's takeaway was that speed matters just as much as knowledge, especially when it comes to swiping the sensors.

Mama Loi called it "diskarte na may kasamang luck." She was happy to have reached the jackpot round, but she would’ve been fine either way, since her goal from the very beginning was simply to have fun, win or lose. "At saka ang importante, i-cherish mo ang mga moments," she reflected. So, she enjoyed every bit of the game, but the dice roll had her most nervous since it depended entirely on luck and out of her control.

What may have manifested her victory was the preparation she put in. Mama Loi rewatched past episodes "para makita ko 'yung diskarte ng ibang naglaro," which paid off in the end.
