More than a decade since its inaugural season was launched and four years since its last edition was broadcast, “Your Face Sounds Familiar” is finally making its much-awaited comeback this 2025 with brand new hosts and celebrity performers.
While OPM legends Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano, and Ogie Alcasid reprise their roles as judges, it is now hosted by “It’s Showtime” hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario. Season 1’s 1st runner-up Nyoy Volante and third regular season grand winner Klarisse de Guzman, on the other hand, serve as mentors.
Meanwhile, the new pool of artists to showcase their never-before-seen flairs in impersonating local and international music icons is comprised of Jarlo Base, Dia Mate, BGYO’s Akira Morishita, JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano, Alexa Ilacad, Jason Dy, Pepe Herrera, and Rufa Mae Quinto.

Melai Cantiveros as Miley Cyrus, Season 1
From the bleached pixie cut (though it was just a wig) to the pair of immaculately white cropped top shirt and shorts, Melai Cantiveros indeed nailed her portrayal of Hollywood singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus during the grand finals of Season 1 in 2015.
She absolutely left us both amazed and amused with her remake of the controversial “Wrecking Ball” music video, especially when she also did the iconic giant wrecking ball stunt.
Denise Laurel as Beyonce, Season 2
Just a few months after the first season ended, the second season also began its run in 2015, with Kapamilya versatile actress Denise Laurel being hailed as the grand winner in the end.
It was not just her transformation into American multihyphenate Beyoncé that was on-point, but also Denise’s concert-level performance of one of her popular hit songs, “Crazy in Love.” Somehow, it can be said that that sweet victory served as a redemption for “The Sultry Heiress” after being the only celebrity performer among their batch to not have won at least a single week.
Awra Briguela as Nicki Minaj, Kids Edition 1
Through the first season of the Kids Edition that premiered in January 2017, eight child stars of ABS-CBN were able to prove that not only adults can do impersonations, but also young people like them, too!
Kapamilya newcomer Awra Briguela was named the first-ever grand champion of the special edition after she blew our minds with her transformation to Nicki Minaj. Wearing a neon pink wig and a bodysuit similar to what the “Queen of Rap” wore in one of her live performances of her massive hit “Super Bass,” “The Breakout Childstar” wowed everyone with her rapping and dancing skills.
TNT Boys as Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Nicki Minaj, Kids Edition 2
In 2018, the second season of the Kids Edition was launched, in which the well-loved TNT Boys—comprised of “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids” alumni Keifer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto, and Francis Concepcion—were declared the grand champion.
They indeed drove everyone wild with their astounding rendition of “Bang Bang” originally by the talented trio of Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj. The “Bigshot Trio” from slayed their performance—from their shimmering gold costumes and arresting stage presence to their mind-blowing and powerful vocals.
Klarisse de Guzman as Patti LaBelle, Season 3
The challenges they had to go through in order to prepare and execute their performances during the third season may be doubled since it ran in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, yet those never hindered the celebrity performers from giving their best every week—most especially grand champion Klarisse de Guzman.
During the grand finals, the “Soul Diva” truly impressed everyone with her depiction of American R&B singer and actress Patti LaBelle, who has been referred to as the “Godmother of Soul,” while singing one of her most notable songs titled “Over the Rainbow.”
