Ever since it premiered in September 2024, “Lavender Fields” has consistently provided us with excitement through its exhilarating, action-packed scenes and scorching confrontation moments. While the vibe on-cam is usually heavy, intense, and dramatic, it’s totally a different story behind the scenes, as the ensemble cast actually has a lot of lighthearted moments.
And child star Janell Gonzaga, who has been impressing us with her portrayal of Camilla—the adorable little girl who’s at the center of the relentless feud between lead characters Jasmin and Iris—gave us a glimpse of how cheery and cordial the mood really is on the set of their series through her behind-the-scenes snaps with a few of the cast members.
Apparently, her closeness with lead actors Jodi Sta. Maria, Janine Gutierrez, and Jericho Rosales aren’t only for the show, as Janell has formed tight bonds with them in real life. In a recent Instagram post, she shared her lighthearted behind-the-scenes moments with her Tita Lav and Ninong Tyrone, as well as with her Ninang Iris and Ninong Tyrone, and even asked her followers which pair they wish to have a happy ending.
But among her famous co-stars, Janell is apparently the closest to Jolina Magdangal since she plays the adoptive mother of Camilla, Lily. We’ve surely witnessed a lot of scenes of them together—both lighthearted and dramatic—through which we are able to see their chemistry and even their resemblance, especially when Jolina was still a child star.
She may have only shared a few scenes with Race Matias and Albert Martinez—who portray Agent Eric Pascual and Agent Zandro Fernandez, respectively—but Janell still made sure to snap photos with them as well.
While having the opportunity to work with some of the biggest and brightest stars in the country is already a huge feat, we can all agree that Janell is beyond lucky to establish tight bonds with them off-cam and even receive big and warm embraces from them, too. Right?
