In the spirit of giving and spreading good vibes this Christmas season, Ivana Alawi embarked on another heartwarming journey that left street vendors and bystanders smiling ear to ear. In her latest vlog, Ivana took on a unique challenge: every item she touched, she would buy. But there was a twist—she sent accomplices ahead to test the generosity of the vendors before revealing herself. The results? A heartwarming mix of kindness, surprises, and unexpected blessings.
The mission began at Jefferson’s fishball stand. Ivana’s accomplice approached, pretending to buy but claiming not to have enough money, eventually asking if the vendor could give them some for free. Jefferson didn’t hesitate for long and agreed to give the food. Moments later, Ivana appeared, asking Jefferson why he was so generous. He simply said, “Nangangailangan po kasi sila.”
Impressed by his kind gesture, Ivana rewarded Jefferson with ₱10,000 and bought food for everyone gathered around the stall. It was a small but impactful gesture that turned an ordinary day into a memorable one for Jefferson and the bystanders.
The next stop was a candy vendor named Josephine. Ivana’s accomplice asked for just one piece of candy. Josephine handed over the candy without hesitation, explaining later to Ivana. Touched by her kind heart, Ivana bought all the candies Josephine was selling for ₱5,000, added an extra ₱1,000, and even handed out “pamasko” to elderly passersby.
A fruit vendor was next on Ivana’s list. Her accomplice asked for a banana, and just like the others, the vendor generously gave it for free. When Ivana revealed herself acknowledged his kindness. The act of selflessness deeply moved Ivana, who shared her belief that “Kapag tumulong ka, kahit maliit o malaki, tulong pa rin ’yon.”
As a reward, Ivana handed over ₱30,000 to the vendor, purchased a significant amount of fruits, and gave an additional ₱5,000 to another vendor. Her visit turned the street corner into an impromptu celebration of giving.
Finally, Ivana approached a vendor selling kakanin (Filipino delicacies). The vendor, too, passed the test, giving her accomplice a treat. True to her mission, Ivana bought all the remaining kakanin, rewarded the vendor with ₱10,000.
Through her touching interactions and genuine desire to make a difference, Ivana reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can ripple into something much bigger, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
