MANILA — It was a memorable moment for the first episode of the new "It's Showtime" segment titled "And The Breadwinner Is..." on Monday.
The segment is inspired by the show's former segment "Trabahula" and Vice Ganda's movie of the same name set to be released at the Metro Manila Film Festival next month.
After contestant No. 2, Anna, was introduced as a real call center agent, people were touched by her story including celebrity guests Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.
Anna got a pangkabuhayan showcase from "It's Showtime" and a cash prize of P20,000.
She also got P50,000 from Pangilinan and Mariano to serve as a gift for the holidays.
"It's Showtime" airs new episodes from Monday to Saturday, 12 noon, on GMA, GTV, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online, A2Z, and other Kapamilya platforms.
