As Rigor’s (John Estrada) legal wife and mistress, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) and Lena (Mercedes Cabral), respectively, have been going head-to-head in some seriously intense showdowns in “FPJ's Batang Quiapo.”
Their confrontations are scandalous spectacles, and it’s clear that neither is ready to back down. There's no sign of things cooling off anytime soon, especially now that Lena had a miscarriage, for which she blames Marites.

Let's begin with one of their subtle confrontations back then, when Rigor and Lena's affair was just still brewing. Marites invited the other woman to hang out in a cafe. There must be something in her drink that she cut straight to the chase, asking if Lena was having an affair with her husband. The face-off was, well, entertaining, as the ladies exchanged feisty innuendos, with Marites saying that she doesn’t like sharing cups with others and suggesting Lena try a strong brewed coffee “para minsan kabahan ka.”
Let's get to the exciting part, shall we? Marites unleashed her inner beast when she caught Rigor and his paramour red-handed in the latter’s house. Furious, she dragged Lena out and exposed her to her neighbors. Although the mistress dared to fight back, and the cheating husband’s gaslighting skills came in handy, there’s nothing as satisfying as getting revenge on the 'other woman' with at least a strong slap and hair-pulling act, right?
But, the audacity of the two cheaters has been nothing short of astonishing! Rigor shamelessly moved his mistress into the house he shares with his legal family without a care for the chaos it would cause. Naturally, with both the 'number one' and 'number two' under the same roof, clashes were inevitable. In one explosive scene, Marites was stunned to find Lena in their home and immediately lashed out with a slap. The fiery Lena fired back, pointing out Marites' shortcomings as the reason why Rigor chose to be unfaithful. And with Rigor actually taking her side, it only made Lena even more confident.
When questioned about her lack of decency, Lena brazenly insisted she had every right to stay in the house since Rigor was the one who brought her there. She even went as far as to say that Marites should be the one ashamed for clinging to a man who no longer wants her.
Another round of ‘bardagulan’ transpired when Lena used her pregnancy to play the victim again. She claimed Rigor's house as her own, arguing that Rigor invited her to live there. Marites, standing her ground as the legitimate wife, insisted on her rightful place. However, Lena taunted that she would eventually take the crown from Marites.
In another scene, the two had a heated argument in front of Rigor, who only escalated the situation by announcing he would split his salary between his "two families." This decision sparked a fierce debate over financial support, with Lena demanding a larger share. Then, the tension reached a boiling point as they battled over who deserved more of Rigor's income.
Enter Marites' frenny and tenant, the feisty Roda (Joel Lamangan), and things just got more exciting, which brings us to the trending scene where Lena threw shade at Marites’ fresh makeup look, courtesy of Roda, for Rigor’s pinning ceremony. Lena was feeling herself, but Roda wasn’t about to let his "frenny" be left out. He offered to do Lena’s makeup too—except his version would be so terrifying it would look like she was getting ready for her own funeral. “Tutulungan kita, ang gagawin ko sa’yo ‘yung parang natutulog na makeup na hindi ka na gigising kahit kailan.” When a fuming Lena stormed off, Roda lifted Marites’ arm in victory and declared her the winner by knockout.
Lena scored a few points, though, when Marites packed up and left because of all the chaos and drama surrounding her family. With Marites out of the picture, Lena felt like the new queen of the house. But karma struck fast when Marites returned to reclaim her territory. We were all Roda, on the sidelines, eagerly cheering as Rigor stepped in to side with his legal wife, and then told Lena to get back to her room or face eviction.
And the winner is… Marites? Or is she, really? Rigor finally saw the trouble Lena brought into his life and kicked her out of his house. But Lena wasn’t about to let it slide, so she confronted Marites in front of a crowd at the market. Things got out of hand when Lena attacked Marites—pulling her hair, choking her, and practically beating her. Desperate to get away, Marites ran as soon as she found the opening she needed. But Lena wasn’t done. She chased her down, and in the middle of the assault, Lena fell down the stairs, which tragically led to her miscarriage. With the child gone, Rigor’s anger toward Marites grew even worse, and Lena seemed to be spiraling into madness.
