INDIO, California — The atmosphere at the Mojave tent for BINI’s Coachella debut was, needless to say, electric as fans and casuals gathered to witness the Philippines’ pride take the stage and show the world what they got.

And BINI did not disappoint.

They even exceeded expectations, showing off a string of high-octance dance breaks, splits, amazing vocals, fresh riffs and runs for a solid 42 minutes.

ABS-CBN Music head Roxy Liquigan was on the sidelines and personally witnessed how the mixed music crowd vibed to BINI’s ‘Shagidi’ and ‘Out of my Head’, and even the girls’ latest track ‘Blush’.

“Grabe, ayaw umalis ng mga tao, sa audience. So we’re so happy. Grabe ang performance,” said Roxy.

While accidents and unexpected events are unavoidable especially during live performances, Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi felt a sense of relief that the show was smooth, and the girls made it safe, sound and successful.

“Sobrang pagod, parang ito yung rocketship na napalipad mo na sa ano, yung feeling na na-release na namin all the tension and I’m very proud of the girls. They all did so well.”

Dyogi added: “And the crowd so amazing, they were so engaging. They loved the setlist, they loved the choreography, they loved the production, maraming salamat to everybody who came.”

The question now is, apart from BINI’s second week schedule in Coachella, what’s next for the girls after this big global gig?

“April is such an amazing month for BINI. From Coachella, to Grammy Museum, to the announcement of Billboard (US) that we will be part of it on the 29th, and coming home to kick off the world tour. Ang daming mangyayari.”

He added, “Actually, we can’t wait to get home and share our pride and feeling of happiness with our kababayans.”

BINI’s Week 2 schedule has not yet been released. While there is no official confirmation, sources told ABS-CBN News that the group will be at the Mojave Tent again.
