Blackpink's Jennie is set to release a new song titled "Less Than A Lover" on July 24, her agency said Tuesday.
On its X account, Odd Atelier unveiled a teaser image for the upcoming track, which is scheduled for release at 1 p.m. KST (12 noon in the Philippines) on July 24.
The latest teaser image shows the 30-year-old artist running through a field with a man, accompanied by the text: "The summer I chose to pause the love story."
Based on the teaser, Jennie is behind the music, writing and direction of the release.
"Less Than A Lover" marks Jennie's first official solo release since her critically acclaimed 2025 debut album, "Ruby," which spawned the hit songs "like JENNIE," "ExtraL" featuring Doechii and "Handlebars" featuring Dua Lipa.
Jennie debuted in 2016 as a member of Blackpink, one of K-pop's most popular girl groups.

In February, Jennie participated in Blackpink's comeback with the extended play "Deadline."
