Filipino-American singer Olivia Rodrigo is releasing her new song "the cure" this Friday.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Rodrigo said "the cure" is her favorite song on her upcoming album "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love."
"it’s my favorite song on the album and one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made. couldn’t be more excited for you guys to hear it," Rodrigo wrote.
Rodrigo's third album "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love" is set to drop on June 12, which coincides with Philippine Independence Day.
In October 2024, Rodrigo visited the Philippines for her Guts tour, sharing that her visit was so special to her, something she had dreamed about for years.
