Ariana Grande shared the progress of the preparations for her upcoming The Eternal Sunshine Tour.

"I'm grateful to work and I'm excited for the tour," she said in an interview with E! News.

The singer relayed that the preparations are in full swing. "I've been working on the setlist for months now and it's on a good place but we will never know until we get into the rehearsals which is starting very soon and we put things on their feet if it will make sense or not. But TBD (to be determined), I want to let it be a surprise," she said.

In the same interview, Ariana was asked how she feels to conclude her journey in the Wicked films. "It feels actually really beautiful. I think we are really proud of what we have done and it was an amazing chapter and now we have given it to the world and get to let them have it and enjoy it and yeah it feels peaceful. It feels good," she remarked.

In an interview on the Good Hang podcast of Amy Poehler in November, Ariana revealed that her upcoming The Eternal Sunshine Tour may be her last concert tour for quite some time.

"The last 10 or 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up. I don’t want to say anything definitive. I do know that I'm very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long, long time," she said.

She added that she intends to make the tour unforgettable. "I'm going to give it my all and it’s going to be beautiful. I think that’s why I'm doing it because I'm like, 'One last hurrah!'" she remarked.

The Eternal Sunshine Tour will kick off on June 6, 2026, at the Oakland Arena and will wrap up on September 1 at London's O2 Arena, spanning 41 shows.

It was in 2019 when Ariana staged her last tour titled the Sweetener World Tour in support of her Sweetener and Thank U, Next album.

Ariana released Eternal Sunshine, her seventh studio album, on March 8, 2024. Composed of 13 tracks, the record debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The album produced the singles “Yes, And?" and "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Eternal Sunshine was nominated for three Grammys including Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "The Boy is Mine," and Best Dance Pop Recording for "Yes, and?"

On October 1, 2024, the singer released the Eternal Sunshine (Slightly Deluxe and Also Live), which included all 13 original tracks, along with remixes featuring Mariah Carey, Troye Sivan, and Brandy & Monica. It also included acoustic and live renditions of some of the tracks in the album.

Ariana dropped the Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead in March 2025.

The actress-singer recently starred in Wicked: For Good, the second part of the highly anticipated Wicked film adaptation. The first part of the Wicked movie breached the $500 million mark at the global box office. It also received 10 nominations at the Oscars.
