Rob first announced his major solo concert during the finale of his successful joint concert with fellow OPM new-generation artists Adie, Arthur Nery, and Amiel Sol last December 5.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Rob expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to mount his own solo concert as he marks his fifth year in the music industry.
“Really excited and you know hindi rin siya magiging madali since kasi ayon nga maraming factors like hindi lang concert pero ako grateful ako na magkaroon nga ganoong opportunity. Really excited, and syempre all out iyon and feeling ko mag-e-enjoy ‘yung mga tao,” Rob said.
“Noong una hindi ko siya inexpect kasi, ayon nga, na 5 years in the industry hindi pa siya ganoon katagal kaya ayon nga na thankful ako kay Lord na nabigyan ako ng blessings and opportunities na nakatulong para mangyari ito,” he added.
Rob also teased what fans can look forward to in his concert, saying: ““Ngayon, nilalatag pa lang yung concept pero may idea ako na dapat gagawin. Maraming songs kami na kakantahin like covers ng original songs and mga songs na nerelease ko dati sa kwarto ko lang na kakantahin ko na sa Araneta. Ayon yung exciting na part.”
Rob Deniel rose to fame with his breakout singles “Ulap,” “Miss Miss,” and “RomCom.” This year, his heartfelt renditions of Ogie Alcasid classics “Ikaw Sana” and “Nandito Ako” went viral online, earning praise for his emotional and soulful delivery.
He just recently released his new song “Kalawakan” earlier this month and his cover of Ogie Alcasid songs “Ikaw Sana” and “Nandito Ako” as well as “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang.”
