The wait is finally over for Blinks!
Blackpink announced late Wednesday that they would make their highly anticipated comeback in February with their third extended play (EP), ending months of curiosity over when the K-pop sensation would release a new record.
On their social media channels, the four-member group released a 19-second clip revealing that they would drop the EP, titled "Deadline," on February 27.
Additional details about the EP, named after the group's ongoing world tour, were not immediately available.
Last year, the group released "Jump" as a pre-release track from the upcoming EP. It marked their first new music in nearly two years, following "The Girls" — a song recorded for their mobile game — in 2023.
Their most recent album, meanwhile, was "Born Pink" in 2022.
Blackpink's comeback date has been the subject of widespread media speculation in recent months, with reports saying the group was originally expected to return in the final quarter of 2025.
In November, the quartet — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa — performed for two nights at the Philippine Arena as part of their "Deadline" tour, where they fielded "Jump" along with past hits and new songs from their respective solo albums.
