OPM singer-songwriter Maki delighted netizens as he took on the famous E-Trike Karaoke challenge of content creator Alanna Maclidem.

In E-Trike Karaoke’s latest post, Maki can be seen effortlessly belting the song “Seven” of BTS member Jungkook while being treated to a ride around the streets of Los Angeles.

The “Dilaw” hitmaker was asked with the exact same question the content creator has asked other prominent artists.

“For $20, would you do e-trike karaoke?” she asked.

During the quick interview, Maki proudly introduced his roots, saying: “Hi, I’m Maki and I’m from the Philippines.”

Oozing with confidence, he gave himself an 11 out of 10 rating when asked how he would rate his singing skills.

Judging on his responses alone, Maki seemed to be a huge fan of the K-pop supergroup BTS.

Given the chance, the 21-year-old singer would love to do a karaoke with no less than Jungkook.

Maki also revealed that his current favorite song is “Killing It Girl” by another BTS member, J-Hope.

It was not the first time Maki expressed interest in collaborating with the K-pop superstar as he also did in a 2024 interview.

“Well, libre mangarap. Sa international (scene), si Jungkook. Sa local, isa sa mga inspiration ko talaga sa writing  din si kuya TJ Monterde,” he told ABS-CBN News when asked about his dream collaborations.

Netizens were quick to react on E-Trike Karaoke’s post, showing their appreciation for the singer-songwriter.

“Is there a Filipino alive that can’t sing? He is good!” one fan commented on Instagram.
