In recent years, the members of Girls' Generation have been focused on their solo careers, although they've remained close and even reunited in 2022 to celebrate their 15th anniversary with a comeback.
Still, as one of K-pop's most beloved and iconic acts, it's only natural for fans to wonder when they’ll see the group together onstage again, perhaps even on tour. One Filipino fan couldn't resist the chance to ask Tiffany Young just that when she visited Manila on Sunday for her solo fan concert.
"SNSD world tour in Manila, when?" the fan shouted during a talk segment of Young's "Here With You" show at the Samsung Hall in Taguig.
"I'm always ready for a great time," Tiffany responded.
"I am seeing them next week so I will ask them. As you all know, I'm a part of Girls' Generation but different management," added the idol, who is currently signed with agency Sublime.
"[But] I will ask. I am just being real," she said, alluding to the differences in management among the members.
While fans were thrilled to hear Tiffany acknowledge the question about a Girls' Generation tour, "Here With You" remained a celebration of the "Magnetic Moon" singer herself, marking her reunion with her Filipino fans after more than five years.
"It's been way too long," Tiffany said. "I can't believe it has been five years. A lot has been going on and has changed — personally and professionally."
The 35-year-old singer also delighted Young Ones, her solo fandom, with energetic performances of her own hits and standout covers, as the crowd sang and danced along.
Tiffany debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls' Generation, known for hits such as "Into The New World," "Gee," "Genie," "Run Devil Run" and "The Boys," among many others.
In 2017, Tiffany departed SM Entertainment, the K-pop company that formed Girls' Generation. Despite this, she and the other members who have since left the label remained part of the group, reuniting in 2022 for their 15th anniversary release, "Forever 1."
