From viral song covers as a child to becoming a full-fledged recording artist, Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition Big Winner Mika Salamanca is finally set to fulfill her dream of becoming a singer.
On the official social media pages of Star Music, it was revealed that Mika recently visited the ABS-CBN office to discuss her upcoming album, which will be released under the Kapamilya network’s music label.
“Welcome back to the office, @mikslmnc! So excited! ✨ #MikaSalamanca #StarMusicPH #ABSCBNMusic,” Star Music teased, along with a photo of Mika during the visit.
Shortly after, Mika posted on her X account: “it will all make sense one day, take it easy.”
In a sentimental gesture, Star Music also reposted a throwback photo of Mika’s first-ever visit to their office two years ago, contrasting it with her recent meeting with the Star Music team.

In her reply to the post, Mika hinted at a long-awaited moment finally coming to life:
“been cooking something for 2 years, it make sense now kung bakit laging hindi natutuloy. God’s perfect timing ✨,” she replied.
Fans were quick to shower her with love and support to Mika and her dream.
“Congratulations Mika! You deserve greater things in His timing. We love you!! 🫶🏻,” a fan wrote.

In a past interview with Boy Abunda, Mika shared that pursuing a music career was one of her dreams following her PBB stint.
Just last week, her old song covers of Sarah Geronimo’s “Sino Nga Ba Siya,” Taylor Swift’s “White Horse,” Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb,” Aegis’s “Sinta,” and Sheryn Regis’s “Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka” resurfaced online. The clips reignited excitement among fans, with many playfully claiming that she already had an “unofficial album.”

Her fellow housemates Esnyr Ranollo, Will Ashley, and Klarisse de Guzman even joked about the viral videos on their Instagram broadcast channel Yoma Akus.
Mika laughed it off, saying: “Paplano-plano pa ako ng album this year, meron na pala.”
In an interview with GMA Network through her manager Katrina Aguila, Mika looked back on the origins of her viral content.
“It's really funny and amusing kasi nung bata ako lagi nila ko vini-video and nung bata ako. Yung Mika na maliit, gusto niya talaga maging sikat. Who would have taught na aabot talaga sa ganito na state? Pero i'll give the moment muna sa batang Mika,” she said.
