Pop star Justin Bieber dropped his seventh studio album, Swag, on Friday, July 11.
"Inspired by his devotion as a husband and father, this new era of music has fueled a deeper perspective and more reflective sound, resulting in some of his most personal music yet," said the press release from the singer's label, Def Jam Recordings, as reported by ABC News.
The album contains 21 tracks including "All I Can Take," "Daisies," "Yukon," "Go Baby," "Things You Do," "Butterflies," and "First Place", among others.
The album contains guest appearances from Gunna, Druski, Dijon, and Lil B, among others.
According to Chart Data, Swag received 74 million first day streams on the global Spotify chart.
Swag marks Bieber’s first album release since Justice in 2021.
In 2023, Bieber sold the rights to his music catalog to UK-based Hipgnosis Songs Capital. As previously reported by Variety, the deal was valued at $200 million. The agreement included his ownership shares in both his publishing and recorded music catalog for all titles released prior to December 31, 2021 covering more than 290 songs.
In August 2024, Justin and his wife, Hailey Bieber, welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber.
Justin broke into mainstream success with the release of his debut album My World 2.0 in 2010. The album debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, making him the youngest solo male artist to reach that milestone in nearly five decades. Its lead single, "Baby" featuring Ludacris, went on to become one of the highest-certified digital singles of all time.
Among his other studio albums include Under the Mistletoe in 2011, Believe in 2012, Purpose in 2015, Changes in 2020.
The singer won two Grammy awards throughout his entire career including Best Dance/Electronic Recording for "Where Are Ü Now" (with Jack Ü) and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "10,000 Hours" (with Dan + Shay).
