Miley Cyrus took to social media to express her heartfelt gratitude to Beyonce after joining the singer on stage during her Cowboy Carter tour stop in Paris.
The two stars performed their duet "II Most Wanted" off Beyonce's Cowboy Carter album, marking a special moment for fans and for Miley, who described the experience as unforgettable.
"To be beside such a humble, gracious, legendary DIVA was a dream come true. Thank you for the opportunity to perform in Paris together & sing our song about friendship," Miley remarked in an Instagram post.
Reflecting on the performance, the "Flowers" hitmaker highlighted: "To have learned from you & loved you my whole life, & then be standing together in matching gold looks is more than I could’ve imagined."
Miley described the moment as a perfect ending to her Paris trip, calling it "the ultimate firework."
"As the finale to this trip supporting Something Beautiful, to close on something as beautiful as a stadium full of people singing 'II Most Wanted' with us was the ultimate firework. Thank you B. I’ll be your shotgun rider for life. Big gratitude to the Cowboy Carter tour crew, you all were incredible for making this happen. Forever and always," she remarked.
Miley recently released her ninth studio album Something Beautiful on May 30.
The album features 13 original tracks, with Miley and Shawn Everett at the helm as executive producers.
The pop star also dropped an accompanying visual film to the album, which debuted in June under the same title, Something Beautiful. The film was a collaboration between Miley, XYZ, and Panos Cosmatos, and is being produced in partnership with Columbia Records and Live Nation.
Miley released her previous album Endless Summer Vacation in March 2023.
The record's first single "Flowers" won Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year at the 2024 Grammys.
"This award is amazing, but I really hope it doesn’t change anything, because my life was beautiful yesterday," Miley said in her acceptance speech for Record of the Year. "Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy but everyone in the world is spectacular."
