Given the chance, K-pop megastar Jin from BTS would love to team up with Bruno Mars, calling himself a "huge" fan of the Filipino-American hitmaker.
The 32-year-old singer revealed his musical wish during an episode of BuzzFeed's "The Puppy Interview," released Wednesday, where he answered questions while playing with puppies.
"I've only met him in passing but I'd love to collab with Bruno Mars one day," the idol, whose full name is Kim Seok-jin, said in the subtitled video.
"I'm a huge fan of him. I often practiced my vocals by singing 'Just the Way You Are' before debut. It's one of my favorite songs."
Jin also mentioned that he loved "APT.," Mars' collaboration with K-pop superstar Rosé from Blackpink.
In the same interview, Jin also spoke about his solo music, sharing that he has been listening to his own songs on repeat.
"The reason being, as I was making these songs, I had to listen to the files one by one to select which tracks would make it. So I almost never listened to the whole album continuously," explained Jin, who dropped his second extended play (EP) "Echo" last May.
"Now that my songs have been released on music sites, it's possible to listen to the whole things continuously. So lately, I've been listening to my entire album often," he added.
Jin is also preparing for his upcoming concert tour, which is set to kick off in Goyang, South Korea, in late June — prompting the idol to resume his workout routine.
"I started exercising again because I need to get my stamina up," he shared. "This time around, I wanna meet more of my fans."
Jin, the eldest member of BTS, was the first among the seven-piece act to complete South Korea's mandatory military service, having been discharged in June 2024.

Since then, he has remained busy, releasing two EPs, hosting his own web variety series "Run Jin" and starring in the Netflix reality show "Kian's Bizarre B&B."
Earlier this week, fellow BTS members RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook were discharged from the military, leaving only rapper Suga to complete his mandatory service. Their return has heightened anticipation for BTS' comeback as a complete septet.
