MANILA -- "'Di tayo mahirap, ninanakawan lang. ... Mga kurakot ikulong na 'yan!"
OPM singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid is standing up against corruption through his newest song "Sige, Laglagan Na!" which was released over the weekend amid of the ongoing corruption issues in the government.
In "Sige, Laglagan Na!" Alcasid expressed his frustration and called for justice and accountability.

"'Di tayo mahirap, ninanakawan lang
Ng mga may kapangyarihan at naghahari-harian
Sinu-sino ba'ng mananagot sa katiwalaan?
Nagtatanong ang taong bayan

'Sige, Laglagan Na!' was composed by Alcasid and arranged by Theo Mortel. Alcasid also produced the song with Jonathan Manalo.
The song's official lyric video has been uploaded on the official YouTube page of Star Music.
Just last Sunday, November 30, thousands of people returned on the streets to express their disgust over what they call widespread and systemic corruption in government.
