Filipino band The Juans is gearing up for an exciting year in 2025 as they celebrate their 10th anniversary in the music industry.
In a recent press release, the hitmakers behind "Hindi Tayo Pwede" revealed plans to release a full album soon.
“We’re working on a full album that we’re really excited for people to hear,” band’s lead vocalist and keyboardist Carl Gueverra said.
He also shared that their new album will have a familiar but different theme for their fans to enjoy.
“It’s got that familiar hugot that everyone loves pero this time, we’re also exploring new themes,” he added.
To mark a decade of music, The Juans’ acoustic guitarist, RJ Cruz, shared that the band is injecting a more fun vibe and colorful elements into their sound.
“Each member is stepping up to take a bigger role in shaping the band’s sound this time. We're not just sticking to what’s familiar—trying kami this time ng ibang genres and we’ll push our creative boundaries to bring something fresh sa fans,” RJ shared.
Bassist Chael Adriano also expressed the band’s eagerness to deliver music that reflects their real-life experiences.
“We plan to release more tracks that explore our journey through relationships, healing, and finding our way,” he added.
In a recent post on their social media page, the quartet teased their upcoming projects and unveiled a fresh group photo.
“Welcome to the new era of The Juans! Same heart, more feels. 🔥 #TheJuans,” they said in the post.
They also added in the comment section, “Excited to bring you new music this 2025, @thejuanistas ! 🤩.”
On January 13, the band officially announced the release of their new single, “Pasensyoso.”
“Pahabaan ng pasensya ang labanan! ⏳,” they captioned a post featuring a red heart formed out of arrows with the song title written inside heart.
Their newest song dropped on Friday, January 17.

Having a new song at the start of the new year, The Juans also announced their plans to visit different cities across the Philippines and to sing along with Juanistas (The Juans fandom) on international stages.
“We’re looking forward to connecting with Juanistas again,” Carl added. “It’s going to be a year of growth for us and our fans.”
Lead guitarist Japs Mendoza expressed his excitement about checking out the audience reaction to their new songs with fans during live performances.
“Iba talaga ang energy ng crowd,” Japs expressed. “We love testing new songs in our live shows and seeing how people react. If we’re excited, they’re excited. If we’re feeling something deep, they’re feeling it too.”
