BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang has reached No. 1 on Netflix’s list of most-watched films in 77 countries.
Originally streamed as a live broadcast, the comeback special of the global supergroup topped Netflix’s movie charts across multiple territories, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Brazil, the Philippines, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia, among others, according to FlixPatrol on Sunday, March 22.
The event took place at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on Saturday, March 21, following the release of their new album Arirang.
According to HYBE, around 104,000 ARMYs filled the South Korean capital to witness the group’s first full-scale performance in nearly four years.

The show included the live premiere of eight songs from their newly released album Arirang. These included “Body to Body,” “Aliens,” “Normal,” and “2.0,” along with fan-favorite hits such as “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Mikrokosmos,” and “Mic Drop.”
BTS's Arirang also shattered two Spotify records upon its release on Friday.
"Four years. One comeback. ARMY made ARIRANG the most streamed K-Pop album in Spotify history and the most streamed album in a single day in 2026," Spotify announced.

During a Weverse Live broadcast in January, RM shared that the album title came after a period of deep reflection, particularly during his time in the military. When the group reunited, they found themselves looking back on their beginnings and the journey that shaped where they are today. As seven artists from South Korea, they felt it was meaningful to choose a title that reflects their roots.
“The keyword ‘Arirang’ came up. Honestly, the meaning is different for each person, because there are many ways you can interpret Arirang’s lyrics. I think it’s about sadness, longing, and love," he shared at that time.
Following their comeback, BTS is gearing up for a world tour set to begin in April. As part of the Southeast Asia leg, the group will perform in the Philippines from March 13 to 14, 2027.
