The trailer for the new movie of Bela Padilla and Carlo Aquino titled A Special Memory has been released.
Based on the trailer, the movie follows the story of a couple whose lives are changed due to Alzhiemer's disease. The movie is based on the hit Japanese series Pure Soul.
"My mind might forget you, but my heart remembers you. Always," says the trailer.
Written by Ricky Lee and directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng, A Special Memory serves as the big screen reunion of Bela and Carlo who play Sandra and Dindo respectively. They last worked together in the movie Meet Me in St. Gallen in 2018.
Fans online were quick to react to the trailer.
"Super excited for this," one fan commented
"Luh! My fave duo back at it again!" another fan wrote.
A Special Memory is set to be released in cinemas on March 11.
After residing London in 2021, Bela moved back to the Philippines in 2025.
"I am temporarily closing this chapter [in the UK] as I prepare to work full-time again," she announced on social media back in January 2025.
Back in August 2025, Bela signed a network and management contract with ABS-CBN.
The actress first entered the entertainment industry at age 16 under Star Magic. During the media conference following her contract signing, she shared her excitement about working on a project with the talent agency once again.
"I feel like the direction of the agency is quite different and I have to say that it's very in line with what I do as an artist. I also can't compare what I could do before and I could do now because I was 16 back then and I'm older now. ... I'm definitely different now also as an artist and as a person. So I feel like this will be a new experience again for me as well," she remarked.
Meanwhile, last year, Carlo starred in the Philippine adaptation of It's Okay to Not Be Okay as Matmat.
