Netflix has announced the release date and unveiled the first look at season 3 of the hit series XO, Kitty.
The streaming giant revealed that the show will premiere this April. "New semester, new secrets, new situationships.... But the same Kitty shenanigans we know and love 👀 💌 I can't keep my lips sealed about this first look at XO, Kitty Season 3, returning April 2!" Netflix posted on Facebook.
In the first-look stills, Kitty and the rest of the characters can be seen exploring Busan, visiting a theme park, and attending a party.
Fans online were quick to react to the post.
"I'm sooo READY," one fan commented.
"BEST NEWS EVERRRR!" another fan wrote.
As per Netflix Tudum, season 3 will follow Kitty as she returns "for her final year at KISS (Korean Independent School of Seoul) with her perfect senior year mapped out. She’s going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future."
This new season, Kitty will also "define her relationship with Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee). For real this time. But when surprise revelations derail her plans and relationships, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected."
Returning to the series are Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, Minyeong Choi as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Regan Aliyah as Juliana, Hojo Shin as Jiwon, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, Joshua Lee as Jin, Sasha Bhasin as Praveena, Michael K. Lee as Professor Lee, Philippe Lee as Mr. Moon, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, Han Bi Ryu as Eunice, and Sunny Oh as Mihee.
Joining the cast this season are Sule Thelwell who takes on the role of Marius, Soy Kim who will portray Yisoo, and Christine Hwang who will appear as Gigi.

It was in February 2025 when Netflix announced that a third season of XO, Kitty would be produced.
The series showrunner and executive producer Jessica O'Toole previously hinted at what fans can expect in season 3.
"I’m so excited to head back to Seoul for another season with our incredible cast and crew. If you thought junior year at KISS brought the drama, just wait," she remarked.
She relayed that season 3 will be filled with romantic elements. "I know we left fans on a cliffhanger at the end of Season 2, but I can promise Season 3 will be worth the wait, including our first summer episode — not to mention plenty of romance, friendship, adventure ... and kissing. Lots of kissing," she stated.
