MANILA -- After almost two decades of acting experience, Gerald Anderson is finally venturing into directing through ABS-CBN's crime-thriller series "Sins of The Father," in which he also stars as the lead.
On Tuesday, August 12, show producer JRB Creative Production in a social media post, confirmed that Anderson will be stepping into director's chair as it uploaded photos from the show's pre-production meeting before the actor finally steps behind the camera.
"Pre-prod before the big day! 🎬 Gerald Anderson steps into the director’s chair for 'Sins of the Father,'" the Instagram post read.
Prior to "Sins of the Father," Anderson was last seen in the 2022 Primetime Bida series "A Family Affair" with Sam Milby and Ivana Alawi.
Anderson had earlier expressed his desire to work behind the camera.
“Moving forward, [gusto ko] na maging part na talaga ako sa production and creative team. As in, I want to do projects na, you know, I want to tell stories na hindi pa naikukuwento. So, I really want to be part of the team,” Anderson had said.
Anderson will be celebrating his 20th year in show business next year. He joined the entertainment world in 2006 as part of "Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition."
