Jake Cuenca and Gillian Vicencio have started taping for ABS-CBN's top-rating series, "FPJ's Batang Quiapo."
On its social media pages, CCM Film Productions uploaded clips showing Cuenca and Vicencio on the set of the action-packed series, where they portray the characters of Miguelito Guerrero and Erika Guerrero, respectively.
"First sequence pa lang, sobrang intense. It's everything that I expected it to be," Cuenca said.
"Really excited to work with everyone at the Guerrero family. Ngayon pa lang nakaeksena ko si Gillian, she's amazing, abangan niyo siya rito. Super excited. Abangan niyo ito, guys. This is going to be an intense one," he added.
Vicencio, for her part, said she is nervous but excited over her new role.
"Sobrang kinakabahan ako, as in. Unang-una, ngayon ko lang ginawa 'yung ganitong role at saka 'yung mga makakasama ko ay talagang magagaling sa ginagawa nila, so kailangan ko mag-keep up. I'm very kinakabahan, pero I'm very happy," she said.
It was last month when "Batang Quiapo" revealed the new stars who will be part of the action-packed series.

Among them are Andrea Brillantes, Angel Aquino, Albie Casiño, Juan Rodrigo, Paolo Paraiso, and Shamaine Buencamino, and screen veterans Michael de Mesa, Albert Martinez, Dante Rivero, Chanda Romero, and Celia Rodriguez.
Last February 19, "Batang Quiapo" broke its online viewership record with 852,417 all-time high peak concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube.
"Batang Quiapo," which debuted in February 2023, airs weeknights at 8 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Cinemo, A2Z, and TV5.
