MANILA -- After two years, Korean star Kim Soo-hyun is coming back to Manila for a brand event.
Soo-hyun's return to Manila for a fan meet was announced by local fashion brand Bench on Tuesday, August 4, on media post.
The much-anticipated event will be on October 2 at the SM Mall of Asia.
"The countdown begins! Kim Soo Hyun is coming to meet his Filipino fans very soon. Who's excited?" the brand wrote in an X post.
Kim last visited Manila in 2024 also for a fan meeting organized by a brand. He was also in the Philippines in 2022 and 2023.
The Korean heartthrob who is known for starring in the dramas “My Love from the Star” and “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” also starred in the hit 2024 Korean drama "Queen of Tears."

Soo-hyun's upcoming fan meet marks his return to spotlight after a long-year hiatus. Last year, claims surfaced that he dated the late Korean actress Kim Sae-ron while she was still a minor.
However, last May, South Korean authorities said that allegations against Soo-hyun were fabricated.
