The Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, made sure to celebrate with their Filipino Blooms last June 11 for their fourth anniversary as a group. Despite being thousands of miles away, the eight-member group joined their fans via video chat and even answered some questions.

BINI is currently in the US for their BINIverse world tour.

Fans of the Nation’s Girl Group were in for a treat at the whole day event held earlier this week in Quezon City. Apart from meeting the girls virtually, several activities were in store for Blooms present such as a special exhibit featuring the outfits and props from their most memorable shows.

When asked by a fan what lesson they learned while being on tour, BINI Colet expressed how it made them more humble as they set foot outside of their comfort zones—performing their chart-topping songs to foreigners and new fans outside the country.

“Natuto kaming mas maging humble pa kasi siyempre sa Pilipinas nasanay kami na parang ang daming BLOOMs na nagmamahal, na sosoldout ng BLOOMs yung concert namin diyan sa Pinas. Dito, parang nag risk talaga kami na malaking venue and introduce yung BINI and yung buong OPM dito sa ibang bansa. Humbling experience siya sa amin lahat,” BINI Colet shared.

Meanwhile, BINI’s leader Jhoanna assured their fans that they are still the same eight girls from when they started four years ago. She expressed how they will always listen to their fans and are open to improving their craft even more.

“Kami pa rin yung genuine girls na nakilala niyo four years ago. Some na patuloy na nag iimprove pa rin–– wala naman perfect na performance. Tanggap naman namin [yung mga] constructive criticisms so yes super open kami for that. Kami pa rin ito, Blooms,” BINI Jhoanna stated.

BINI Mikha then expressed her gratitude towards for the love that they’ve been receiving from international Blooms–– both coming from foreigners and Filipinos. She noticed how the foreign fans have been making an extra effort in knowing their Tagalog songs which warms their hearts.

“It feels amazing cause we actually didn’t expect a lot of foreign Blooms because obviously, it’s not common. Right now, we’re still trying to introduce Filipino music through our Filipinos who are out here in the States and all over the world, really. We’re so excited because watching them trying to sing a long in Tagalog and really putting in the effort in memorizing it is heartwarming. Nakakatuwa lang talaga,” BINI Mikha shared.

Meanwhile, fans present at the Happy Blooms Day event were also shown the exclusive preview of BINI Chapter 3: Hanggang Dulo–– the final installment of the Nation’s Girl Group’s documentary.

The series is directed by Jet Leyco and produced by award-winning documentarist Jeff Canoy. It’s available for streaming exclusively on the iWant app this June 12.
